It doesn't necessarily suck. It's just older than what came out of your truck.

This is looking in the odd side stand pipe bore. The hg is chrome, or at least not black.

Would everything I have on my old engine work on the replacement?

That doesn't tell you a whole lot. Both the OEM and Black Onyx gaskets use chrome in that area. The area you need to see, you can't with the heads bolted to the block.

Yes it would. You just have a rebuilt older engine.

That's just wonderful. Crap, if I take the heads off, they have very good reason to void warranty. If I don't, and they aren't oem, well we all know. But I will feel stupid if I take them off and they are blue. If I take them off, shouldn't I get new gaskets anyways?

Anthony,
That was very good chatting on the phone. The cats did not get MY dinner.
<a href="http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/443/dsc0060m.jpg/" target="_blank"><img src="http://imageshack.us/a/img443/7344/dsc0060m.th.jpg" border="0"/></a> But she wanted it.

The PC I was whimpering about quit again. Time for a re-build
on that I think .
I am going to look into that worm gear drive for the stand and try my
hand at making one. It does not look that hard and I think it will work.
When I do I'll see what it will take to make two if you would like.

Are there any longevity benefits to the 20mm block?

I think I could build one. Need to do some research.

M-chan,
What is the hole size in the injector cup? I may know of a
scope that would fit. Just need to know the size. It would
be the old style with a ridged tube without video just a eye
piece to look in with.

Now I didnt see anyone Mention anything so I will

With the Play in the Roller in the Lifter like this How much of a preformance loss is theere as the Valve Open Duration is signifigantly reduced

Since the 6.0L is a Boosted Moter maybe the Preformance Loss is Minimal compared to a Gasser

I would guess a Gasser that did this might be in the range of a 15%-20% power Loss thats probably little High

But a Boosted Moter with an Injector setup High press like it is I would think the PCM can make up for some of that???

What do the Techs think about this???
