Give 'em a link to this site and thread. Bad publicity is NOT good.

Well,,,,dammit! I know it don't help much but I'm sure I can speak for those of us following along when I say we feel your disappointment.
I can't help but wonder if these guys know how many people are following along with this whole transaction, and how bad they are lookin at this point.

I don't think they have a clue I just another guy. My wife got pissed n called them. Not sure how I feel about that, but, better her yellin at them than me tho. She's pretty well versed with the 6.0, and knows what we want, and what we asked for.

Btw, it is painted up fairly nice, except for the thermostat housing that's flaking paint, and the water pump bore, my oil cooler might clog from paint chips. Wtf

Oh man that sucks bro, I would figure up your lost wages from the time this started until you at least are able to get ALL of your money returned and tell them you are gonna sue their sorry a.s.s.e.s for lost time and wages. As far as i know a verbal agreement is just as binding as a signed contract.

I'd never had any experience with A-1, but a quick google
can change all that... seems to be the ford versus chevy sort
of thing... for the horsepower we are running, either one will
probably be fine.

the VR box is another story..... during my quick learning curve on
6.0's, the one universal, without exception, both online and F2F
constant, was don't touch them with someone else's ten foot pole.

seems they have done a pretty good job of misrepresenting everything
they promised to do.... i'd almost be tempted to see if they would
settle for providing the ford OEM head gaskets, and you change them
out yourself.

at this point, i'd be so pissed at being lied to that i'd be doing a
merchant charge back on the credit card, and they can come
pick up their forking motor on their dime if they want it back.

probably the best solution being in your situation would be to
change the headgaskets myself, chalk it up to a "growth experience"
and move on.

the goal is to get back to work. how much will a weeks work cost you?
as for cracking the engine open, i'm sure that voids their warranty,
but after seeing how they have handled this so far, you may not be
losing much.

top of the thread, 25 pages ago.... and they do most of
their business online, and the great big internet is really
a small village with google as the town gossip.

SEO cuts both ways.... bet a cheeseburger we can get
the thread we start about their biz practices to the
top of a search on their shop name, and then call the
owner of the shop up and tell him to google himself in
the mirror.

using shame and fear to motivate has a long history
of success in human interactions.

Anthony,
What can I say that someone has not already said.
Sorry seems so much of an understatement
How did you pay for this? CC I hope. If you did use the words
Charge Back to then with breach of contract.
They will find out that Google will not be there friend now

On other things I called Delta Camshaft today I want to know also
They said that they have seen quite a few 6.0L camshafts and
can fix yours. They do need to look at it to work up the cost and
can find a new set of replacement lifters.

Anthony,
Can you please post
The name and web address for the builder so we can
make sure that they get all the credit due.
Or in this case the negative credit

Everybody should just relax and let the vendor work it out with the customer.

It doesn't seem fly by night,,, or at least it didn't. I got the gasket set today also. There's a egr delete in there too. The up pipe is just galvanized pipe, it's an ok kit, would've been nice if they would've told me it was in there. I didn't need it and would've rather gotten a discount for not taking it.

I really can't afford much more bs Sofar I'm keeping it. I'm supposed to get a call back from them about an hour ago.

I guess it's time to do this. The engine stand scares me with the engine upside down,,, so I used the hoist and a strap to help keep the engine from tearing up the stand, or the concrete.

I'm more liking the crate, it will work for now to hold the old one.

She's naked

Old front cover

Old rear cover

I'm letting the straps slide over the hoist. It is working, I'm sure it's not the recommended procedure.

Got it. I think I can put the pans on without moving the straps.

They are giving me 100 since my clutch isn't here. I told him its bs that the engine beat the clutch here. Now I'm waiting on it. It's going in. Hopefully everyone else can read this and decide for themself if they want to use them.

Is this how most gasket kits come????

That sux. I expected a bunch of ford bags. Not so much.

No ford packaging at all

I guess I have an egr delete for sale

Is there a way to distinguish between 18 n 20 mm dowel engines? Without removing the heads.
