New heads on their way from PSC, much happier with these numbers
in the end it took longer than I would have liked but they made it right and that’s what matters. I think between my new valve recession .025-.030” and my modified protrusion of .021-.023 I should be safe with my colt cam stare 2
As if you doln't have enough on you plate. You could look up the thread about how to change to the later 05+ HOP.
If you have not dropped the lifters in you can get in to change the branch tube and go with stand pipes and dummy plugs.
I made up a hard line 2003 ICP relocate kit while I was putting the engine back together. I didn't install it as I didn't want to have to sort multiple issues after it was installed, plus I want to see how hard it would be to install in the field. At some point it will be tested.

Sorry for adding more to your already full plate.
yeah I could change all that stuff over but to be honest I don’t see a reason. I was very happy with how my truck ran before. Besides the HPOP I think think that the 2003 oil system is more reliable as far as connections go.
Looks like my new condenser motor craft YJ594 does not have the provisions for the rubber air dam pieces that seal off the gap between the core support and the condenser/radiator/coolers. I wonder why they didn’t install the little bracket on the sides of the tubes for it to mount ?
Motor craft unit I purchased Aftermarket unit that mimics the side rails for mounting the air dam trim pieces
I stripped 3 valve cover bolt holes in the rocker boxes. 1 passenger side and 2 driver side. Ordered a M6x1.0 heilcoil kit.
I torqued them down to 76 inch lb but I guess those 3 were on their last legs in respect to the threads. Easy to fix now while the engine is out. I also dropped my GPCM and broke one of the plastic connectors. Oops. I’m just happy this engine is almost complete.
Never had one of these delete kits that fits perfect.
They seems all to come from China.
yeah the original fit up was bad china man need better jig it’s not that hard. I had to use a torch and bend the pipe a bit but then it cracked the bad weld around the flange so I had to re Tig it.
Dfuser kit. My only issue is the 45 degree elbow some how got bent/tweaked and it’s not seating very flush. I’ll run over to the hydraulic store tomorrow and get a replacement. Maybe it’s my fault or maybe the hardware is **** quality. I’m hoping the relocate makes life better down the road
