hi john! were did you buy it, because of the hurricane mac can,t quote on delivery. i,m in no hurry won,t be working on truck before january.
I'll have to look it up Brian but it was out of California, my wife will know because she looks after all the bills. I think it was around $225 US that I paid for it..
hi guys! no motor yet but he said it should be ready this month. i sent my radiator to a radiator shop (they are getting hard to find with all the aluimium and plastic radiators). it leaked on the top tank. guy by phone said if it were mine i would remove tank to repair and rod it. he phone today and said the heat from welding the tank, damaged the welds on the tubes. so its leaking at the tubes and not repareable. he wants 800 for a new core. i see on mac website 198 for an alumium one. its seems like a better deal! i would liked to keep the brass one for looks but thats alot of money. anybody tried them, they should be good heat transfer. with my engine budget doubling i sure don,t want it to heat!!!
$800 sounds about right for a Large truck radiator. I did not know that you could get a new one or at least one that fit the large trucks. Your project looks great!
is there a difference between a pickup one and a 2 ton model. if my memory is good ,i think mine had 2 row. but they were wider, than what you usely see! could the hose be different size . demension wise there all the same.
I think if you give them a call they could answer all your questions Brian..I 'm pretty sure the rads would be the same from the pickups to the larger models. They are for the 56 's
