well just finish another weekend ,though i would get it ready to store for summer. i had forgot that the wheel bearings from my part frame had one so so bearing. one of them had a nick on a cup,the others were really nice. so i installed the steering box and springs ,backing plates. i wasn,t going to attack the weather stripping. since i had spare time and was afraid doors would open by themself, while i move truck. i dicided to try and install diverside window and regulator weatherstripping. i will order the missing bearing monday, hope its available quit fast or i will install bad one temporarily.
used GB trick for the fine tuning after using a rimmer.
well finally got truck home! plans for this summer are the odometer, maybe some black frame paint. and if i ever have a slow weekend i would like to put together my helper side door .
been putting a few hours here and there. got my helper side window and door latch back together. ended sending my odometer to bill wells, nice guy to do busness with. i ended up wearing off the painted numbers, and could not get it timed right. i got the speedometer all back together now, only the trim left to paint. i,m going to place and order for a few odds end . and i don,t find anything for my dash door spring! my dash door was always open so i guess something missing. maybe a picture or part number ,so i can figure out what i need.
thanks for the quick answer. seems like there,s 2 models,is there 1 or 2 spring on the hinge would it be in the middle! i going to take another look tommorrow.
There is just one spring that goes in the middle. The Mac's site shows 2 numbers for the same spring. Look at the alternate number...you will see they are the same.
