Yes and the wife is calling the shots on this one. Next summer we are adding a sun room to the house and adding a garage. I was a bit shocked to see what this project is going to cost. I think my frame of reference is stuck in the 90's. $$ easy come, easy go $$

Yeah, and this Fall I'm gonna build a new set of kitchen cabinets to replace the temporary ones I threw together one weekend back in 1981. The ***** on the sink rotate freely in all directions and so I used a yellow junkyard marker paint pen to create a dot on each handle to line up at the point they don't drip. I have three nice sinks with working faucets (that came from remodels) for my wife to choose from. When does Fall start? I better finish my coffee get back to my tonner pickup before the clock runs out!
i guess your right white 66 , theres something changed with posting pictures. i had a small text with all 4 pictures on one post, wrote it twice . seems like i can only post one thing at a time. so here goes again . i had done some rough preparing of my bars last summer. this afternoon i,ve been fine tuning them,, and i,m quit happy with the way they turned out. got 2 left to straighten out ,and i think i got a line on my middlle bar. the bar clips are stiff but i cut them with my tin snips.
working on my jailbars nothing much to show. alot of sanding and bondo , started bondo on the front grille too. cold and humid here so the bondo takes longer to dry. i quit earlier and came home. decides to take apart my wiper motors. boy were people clever back then ! the spline on one were gone, and it looks like the leather flapper are the same. so i open them up there quit easy to take apart. i cleaned one up and transfered the leather flapper. looks like it works nice and smooth now. you want to Watch the switch pivot point. i broke off the press on lock washer trying to remove it . on the second one i left it there you can access the bolt . should bring truck in 2 weeks.
Those old vacuum motors are so cool. I tried fixing mine but didn't have any luck so I sent it out for rebuild. This reminds me that I should give mine a shot of brake fluid to keep the leather from drying out.
not sure yet it will work, didn,t try it yet. where did you send yours to get repared. i was told they were no parts available anymore for our model wiper motors.
