got the windsheild done ,put some urethane on the top and behind the divider bar. filled transmission with with 220W oïl.got the Hood latch painted ,but i think paint was to thinned. forgot to take a picture but after 3 coats the edges would not cover up. warmed up the motor for maybe 10 minutes and had prestone coming from 2 head studs. not sure how i will adress this! still waiting on my driveshaft to be made.

got her home today. drive shaft is installed with 3 new joints, hanger bearing is rebuilted. pulled the headstuds and put sealer on the treads. removed the coolant, and filled with water i was told it will stop any other studs from leaking. water will make corrosion and stop water from following the treads i,m told. i had rebuilt my carburator 6 years ago,and it sat dry for 2 years. it ran ok 2 years ago but i never went on the road. i know the trottle shaft is wore ,it backfires when i want to accelerate. i can only Feather the gas to move truck. i think i will need a new carburator to do better road test or field test in my case ! no pictures forgot my camera,i got no cell phone. planning oh doing my seat over the summer, and maybe replacing carburator !

Bernette... Whatever you are doing, you are doing it right. Like you I have seasonal times when I just can't get my hands on the project no matter what.

Nice work on the grille bars. I had one heck of a time installing that middle bar in the windshield of my truck. Getting the screws started in the outer piece was very frustrating and I know I said a lot of bad words.

Not using the truck yet. The dump bed is at a fab shop having a new floor and sides put in. Im hoping the bed is done soon so I can get it installed and get this project finished up. Take care.
