i think canadien trucks had no frame serial numbers, didn,t find one on my truck. i got a plate screwed to the firewall. in a couple of weeks i will be doing some sandblasting on some parts. i will post a few pictures ,and get one of my serial number.

My understanding is that motor would have been made from 46 to 48. So mine is not original to my truck. when I saw one was in yours and you said it was a 42 it just got me wondering if they could have been used earlier. the truck was not in my wife's family until the late 50's, so i have no idea what was all done to it. Do you have a serial number stamped in the frame by the front wheels on the drivers side. We can find out quick what year the frame is.

hi donnie! to tell the truth i,didn,t get registration with my truck. after some searching i came up with 42,mainly because of the Hood ,ruxel lever, and crab distributer. the guy who sold it said his dad said it was a 43. i do have a c69a engine. and i have matching numbers on the transmission and firewall plate. i know cab was replaced because truck was rolled. and the rear diferencial was changed to since it has 6 studs, with a vaccum ruxel. the original ruxel lever was there but not connected! so its sort of a friendkinstien!!! i didn,t know about the motor what should it be in 42!

I have a question about your truck. I see it is a 42, and you have a C69A motor in your truck, that would have been made in 1948? My truck is a 41 also with a C69A. Do you think yours is original to the truck, replaced?
