i,m plugging up holes in my firewall. i,m not quit sure which one to leave for the wiring harness! does anybody have a picture of a unmolested firewall!
I looked at the '46-'47 cabs I have today and didn't see the one I took the clearance light bar off of. I did have a '41 1 1/2 ton that I scrapped out a few years ago, it may have come off of that cab.

I live in Montreal. We have neighbours from the Gaspé. I have a soft spot for '42 to '47 Ford trucks as my father had one for his fuel oil delivery business.
About the horn a few pages back, I believe you are correct, it was standard equipment.

I ordered a complete new sheetmetal cabfloor for my 1940 big truck, my doors altso is poor, but i will try to find two better ones.
hi and welcome! theres alot of helpful guys around here. if you can post up pictures of your project. i,m almost done my helper side door ,but if i would of had access to better ones it would of been alot easyer.
little updates sanding is long and tedious. i,ve hired a young guy to help with bondo and sending. actually he probably better than me ! were going along slowly. i will probably finish later than i would like but once done its going to be a big step. brought my speedometer to weld the gear that i unjammed.
was going to post a few pictures but photobucket doesn,t work i will try later. i will paint the inside light grey like our friend down under.
i would like to set my odometer to 000000. the numbers that were showing are all brittle! a drill seems like a long process,has anybody ever taken apart the odometer to do this. i still can,t get my photbucket to work,trying a different way!
