It is amazing how fast you are getting the "Lego" engine back together! WOW
I kinda like how it look's. Don't pop the hood at a gay pride event though! lol
Seriously, It is awesome!
Is there a quick way to bypass the clutch safety switch???? Wouldn't mind firing it up before the trans goes back in. In case those coolant lines leak, actually in case anything leaks.
That actually wouldn't be a bad idea. You don't need to worry about the clutch safety switch. Simply turn the ignition key to the run position and jump the starter directly with the jump starter wire jumped to the passenger side battery positive terminal.

I've heard about that wire,,, but never seen it. Isn't it a green wire or something on the pass inner fender??? Anyone got a pic of it???

Look in your engine compartment by the vacuum pump. There will be a heavier gauge wire with a "squeeze and pull" type connector. Disconnect the two halves and jump the male end of the wire to the passenger side positive terminal to engage the starter.
Better yet, you still have your engine compartment and wiring all apart. Follow the one wire that connects to the 's' terminal on the starter solenoid and you will see what I'm talking about. The wire colour is yellow with a light blue stripe.
Anthony,
Are you going to pre-fill the HPOP? I would think a little less time
of sucking air would be better for it. Even if you don't let it start.
That way you don't run your batteries down with the priming run.
