I will help in any way I can,,,,, I will definitely still need help to tho. Like right now,,,, my glow plugs are sick. Does the gp control module either work or not??? I reused the wires also. I'm debating on replacing the wires,,, unless someone else has had a gpcm turn weak. Gp's are new
You can ohm out the Glow Plugs to see if the harness is good. Test each lead of the Glow Plug harness to ground, or Neg Batt post. It should be about 2 ohms.

Before you jump the gun, what is your issue? P0670 and/or P0683 setting?Did this just happen after your #1 injector replace? Did you plug the black and green connectors into the GPCM properly after you re-installed the passenger side valve cover? I know those connectors are a little stiff, but will set those codes if they aren't seated properly into the module.

I wish I had codes. They worked, just not very well. This is the first time I've ever tried to reuse the wires,,, and it will b the last....
Once I get back to the truck, I will check the ohms. I did get the harnesses clicked in on the gpcm. I know my track record isn't very good... I'm thinking that even tho the wires looked good, I must've broke something in the ends when I disassembled. Unless, a gpcm can be weak, or does it work or not???
Make sure you have a good ground from the engine back to the Neg Batt, or frame ground. You need to get onto clean metal. The paint looks great but not very conductive.
Check pins #3 and #17 of the middle PCM connector for continuity to the one GPCM connector. Wire colours are violet with orange stripe and white with light green stripe. If those circuits are good and all eight glow plug circuits check out to less than 2.0 ohms, replace the GPCM.

Very great info,,, thx Mike. I took a screen shot of that post. I will check that later. I opted to listen to advice, and calm down with the breakdown. I left it alone for now. I drove it today.
