I hope you remembered to sign you name on the upper oil pan before you bolted it up.

Patience,,,,,, there's 3 more colors,,,, I didn't plan on yellow for the pan, but I wanted to have a bright color so when I shine a flashlight under there,,,, it would help illuminate. U don't like?????? Lol

And here I thought you liked Dozer Motors (Caterpillar)...thus the yellow. Sort of looks like the correct shade on my screen. We are talking about a HUEI engine after all.

Well at least it will match my truck body paint.
A all white engine would look different. Just something to ponder,

Anthony:

I meant to ask if there were gaskets or o-rings for the piston cooling jets and if so did you have the part number or did they come in the gasket kit???

I was concerned about that!!! But they were just locktited stock with no orings or gaskets. I didn't have anything in the kit to seal them. I'm thinking they are just metal on metal sealing. Kinda odd,, I will have to look at my pics n see if the jets slide into the block through the mounting bracket. I think they did.

I'm thinking about keeping the coolant recirculation kit,,,, except I'm wanting to plumb the lines from the back of the heads into the radiator to degas hose. Reason being is my heads already have the holes threaded n my new front cover doesn't. It would be easier to fix on the road if I have a leak on hose barbs, rather than at the front cover,,, that is if I thread into the tstat housing. I'm also thinking about plain rubber lines with wire looms on them. What do u guys think??
