I shortened the odd side coolant kit line. I cut a small piece of hose to cover the cac clamp
This is where I tied in the even side line. I didn't like it being close to the bottle. It'd get in the way when changing air filters. This way,, it's outta the way
Sick of that busted piece. I self tapped it
Just another pic
This is the top line in the ps cooler. Absolute best way to get new fluid in. I cleaned the ps reservoir, and must've got some water in somewhere, cause my new fluid turned pink,,, and stayed pink. I pulled the ficm relay, had the wife crank the truck while doing this. It was definite when the new fluid was circulated thru.
One thing to know also,,, if you crank the truck enough to drop the fluid level below the front passenger side inlet of the reservoir, then shoot some compressed air into the ps cooler,,, it will blow the old fluid that's in the cooler into the reservoir.
Same as most others. Easy driving, and no towing heavy for 500 miles. If it spins free, then add another 50 miles to it. And just a warning, if you downshift to slow down like I do, mine slipped in that break in period. But it holds well now.

That's great,,, I've never felt my old clutch slip. I was not too impressed tho with how much open area there is on the clutch plate. The stock one is completely covered with clutch material. If I have to replace it again,,, I will go stock.
Yeah. I bought this clutch after I put the truck on the dyno, and it was slipping a little then. I didn't account for the slip...so I'm gunna need a dual disk when I get back. I don't think you will have an issue with it. Mine has never slipped while towing.
I think you will be one of the go to guys for advice from here on out, you have dove deeper and have more experience than most on here besides our actual mechanics here. So are you ready to report for duty?

I will help in any way I can,,,,, I will definitely still need help to tho. Like right now,,,, my glow plugs are sick. Does the gp control module either work or not??? I reused the wires also. I'm debating on replacing the wires,,, unless someone else has had a gpcm turn weak. Gp's are new
