That clearly flies in the face of everything you've said about diesels climbing Vail's Pass, and conversely, to gassers blowing up, overheating, or generally exploding on the way up.

No it doesn't. I said I go up Vail Pass at 55-60, no problems, and the V10's are always in the truck lane with their flashers on. Are you confused about any other posts I've made? If you are, write them down and I'll address them when I return from Christmas shopping with the wife.

I said I can, I have never needed to though.
Longest amount of time I have ever needed to run WOT was 30 minutes.

I went all the way to 5500 in that vidoe.
There was no choice, I had to slow down or I would have gotten a ticket.

I can't tell. Why don't you act like it. Why don't you step back and let them hash this out? Bill don't need you to hold his hand. This is right on topic. V10 vs psd. Bill says he can let charger call him out. Unless you want to prove it. You have that right. Its just lame for you to imply that anybody is wrong by telling them to prove it.

Just like you, I am allowed to comment on an ongoing discussion that I've been participating in for the past year and more.

See how it feels when someone intentionally parses your words the wrong way?

The past few posts of mine were intentionally made to get you to look at your own actions as performed by someone else.

Not a good feeling right?

I did say I don't remember you hitting over 5k. I'm real interrested in seeing you hold 5k+ for some length of time. Just cause you say you can. I don't know what the point is but you made it. I know your truck will run at WOT I want to see 5k+ held.
I can get 4200rpm in my truck but there's just no point. And that been my stand for a couple hundred pages. That's a 1000 rpm past my peak. Will 900 really. I think if I ran my truck like that it would cause damage. I might be wrong and not about to find out.

What, are you his dad?

I have missed a lot due to travel yesterday, but I will say this. Several gassers claimed they can run fully loaded wot and at 5k or whatever would be a peak hp and therefore outpull a psd with less horsepower. No psd has said that, we don't need to. The only time I floored it was stock with over 10k at 6k elevation in 105 degree heat. Stock programming only let me go 50 mph.

And v10 guys be quiet, very heavy wind drag on that trailer and trust me, you would be going slower.

Actually, it didn't bother me at all...You've been doing it since I joined this thread, and it's easy to rebut. You, on the other hand TRY to keep pushing my buttons, hoping I'll say something bad so you can simply ban me. That's not going to happen.

Your point in defending Bill is? I get the feeling that you see it from the point of view that Bill has no burden of proof. I'm not questioning your right as a mod to join in the decussion

There is a difference in teh engine weights but you don't say if yours is 2wd or 4x4 and THAT makes a huge difference.

also have a ranch hand style front bumper which weighs 165lbs (vs IIRC 70 for the stock bumper)

Over that hill, there was a state trooper running radar. The speed limit was 65 where I was doing this.
My choice was to slow down to 65 when I did, or get pulled over by the trooper and explane why I was going 20+ over.

Oh yeah...that transfer case and front axle is the big weight difference. Isn't the engine just a few hundred pounds? Edit: looks like 450lbs difference or so for the engine depending on where you read...For that much more torque, I'll take it.

I didn't say both choices were desirable. I was merely pointing out that you had a choice when you said you had no choice.
