If Bill Gates went to the same school as dougphisics;

Would there be a Microsoft??...

Hopefully we did not degenerate into nothing but a bunch of debaters.. there is a lot of good material in this thread, some here need to go further back and or reread!

S Korea graduates as many engineers annually as the USA does..to bad we couldn't develop this kind of stuff here!!

??? BEST KOREA CO.,LTD. ???

Watch the video again..they are suggesting this apparatus could be even used for home heating! If it wasn't more effective it would be obvious almost immediately and would certainly be back in their face before their next breath!

We have local (Portland,OR) newspeople? trying to tell everybody that it is a scam. They had an Educated Id--- use his RECTAL REASONING to explain that the BATTERY was not able to produce any usable gas production, therefore it would use more fuel for the little energy gain. They are coming out of the woodworks, wiping their BROWN stained glasses and telling people not to spend time or money on this idea. I plan to build a HHO gen. when I finish other projects. So I really appreciate ALL tinkerers that share their results with us, saving time and money on research. Hat off to the believers.

i would have already had mine built. blame the left all you want but when you spend billions of dollars on a war that throws your country into a recession because the dollar is being used as toilet paper ... something aint right.... right meaning conservative

The best way we can get back at the nay sayers is to simply prove them wrong. I don't think Doug is being unreasonable in putting his opinion forward, as it stands now this is still something that needs more work. I will not make any claims beyond any doubt that this works until I see it for myself. If dougphysics wants to get in on the action and make or use a generator himself than I welcome him to the thread.

The REAL question here is who is going to break the 30 MPG barrier

If we don't try, how will we ever know?

Maybe we can set up a seperate thread to document the MPG results of running HHO.

Hey Dave S, can you set us up with a "secret thread" that can only be seen by us "good guys"

I'm sure it would violate rule or something, but it would sure cut down on the wasted posts...

Sorry, that is out of my range of power.

Actually if you look at dougphysics's posts, most of his problems were with the terminology we were using.
And HHO is not correct scientific terminology, I give him that.
I have an 18 year old son, he calls things different names than I am used to.
Makes it very hard to carry on a conversation, you spend way to much time trying to figure out what he is talking about.

Case in point, he just asked what would you have to do to make a gun fire under water?
I said pull the trigger.
Response, Wouldn't that just make it mushroom?
Huh?
Wouldn't the bullet just mushroom?
Well, that is not what you asked me, to make it fire you pull the trigger.

And if he did not read all 550 previous posts, it would be easy to miss what we were working toward.

I find many long threads have stuff covered several times, because all the thread was not read or even people in it from the beginnig do forget stuff.

What I can do, is just like the tuning with glow plug thread, I can weed out non relevant posts like this one.
I probably need to do that one again.

I had wanted to split that thread into two, but with the old software that got to be a major undertaking.
I am not sure if it would work any better with the new software or not.
Some of the things I do got easier, some of them got harder.
And I am still finding different ways to do stuff since the upgrade.

All I need is a bit more time right now, I am getting nowhere with my generator right now.

You can welcome him, I sent him my unit today and he should be getting it by next week. Here is a link to my Gallery on the Kodak Easy Share site. It has the pics in it of my unit that I had on the Freestyle along with the first grid I made with the "stacked M" design.

Kodakgallery.com*My Gallery

Oh, one other thing... I kind of discovered a new spacer by accident(I think). As you can see in the pic of the "stacked M" plate there is a common garden hose washer. Now I have not tried using them for spacers, but they might work.

Sorry, it worked when I tried it but then again I would expect that. I moved the pics on my computer and got them into my gallery here...

OK, here is how I wired it up. It should be pretty easy to figure out but I posted a more detailed written description earlier, if you want it just go back a few pages.

This is the unit I made and used in the Freestyle, which I sent to Dougphysics.

This is the parallel plate design, outer plates have + and -, six middle plates are neutral.

This is the stacked M plate design, alternate plates have opposite polarity.

Ok, my big project at work should be mostly completed middle of next week so I'm going to put my "Order" in with my father in law for some plates and I wanted to check in with the good people here about what setup I should do.

Has anyone discovered what the best configuration is?

+-+-+-+-+-+-

or

-|||||+||||||-

Or ?

How many plates should I get and what size? I figure I will just get a bunch, a little extra never hurt. The size has me beat though. Am I best to find a container first and then get plates to fit or is there an optimal size? Is bigger better or not?

Sorry for so many questions from a person that should know more but it seems to me that the people that share info don't share it all. Not on purpose, it's just left out.

And it doesn't help that I like to follow the rules. I have trouble when there are no rules to follow.

Go with alternating polarity (+ - + - + - + - +). The plate size is entirely up to you. But remember that you still have to fit them into a container. Some use plumbing pipes others use a large plastic case. I would figure out what case you are using before you order the SS material.

What vehicle do you have? make sure what you get will fit in a good location. If you have a pickup I would go with milehigh's type If you can afford the room in the bed. It seems to be the biggest producer so far. thats what i am building now.

I agree 100%.....anybody w/ a pickup & can afford the $$$$, I would be building milehigh's! But I have an X...... So if not milehigh's then I would first find a container you can mount, bigger the better and then order SS.

The only problem w/ +-+-+-+-+-+- is it is going to draw more power and heat the water faster. I have not tried this w/ SS yet, but when I was using all thread it didn't work so great. With using neutral plates you get more production w/ less draw/heat on the system and 7 cells are suppose to be optimum. So I would recommend - l l l l l + l l l l l - Also, do not use copper wire inside your unit.....get some thin gauge ss that you can mold inside your unit to make the +/- connections. My buddy just dropped off my 1/2" strips already rolled in a 3"dia so I can make my connections. Hopefully I can start playing w/ mine again next weekend.
