Just set it out in the sun and water it every day it'll grow plenty big in no time.
Last time I tried that trick I got arrested for indecent exposure and spent 3 days in the slammer with a bad case of sunburn
Just finished dragging the missus and youngin all over town getting parts. I got almost everything I need apart from a small 12VDC water pump and an amp meter. (was going to crack a joke about the nipples I am still missing, but figured I should leave that alone) There don't seem to be such things as auto-electricians here. The only amp meter I found was at 'Autobacs'. Gorgeous little unit - but not for Y24,000 (very roughly US$240), and couldn't find a wiper washer motor anywhere. What is the world coming to? The auto stores have everything to make cars look pretty, but nothing 'real'.
So, tomorrow I'm off to see if I can some stuff at a wrecking yard. There's one about 12 K's away, so I had better pack a lunch box (traffic moves pretty slow over here). Now if only I had one of those F100 thingies I could just drive over the top of everyone!
I haven't given up..........lately I've been having to work twice as hard to make the same money w/ the way this f$^$#^$ing economy is!
I still have to remove my copper wire, make ss leads for + & - inside the unit and get a larger gauge wire. Oh and still make a bracket for it to attach to the truck before I can run it.....no time......

you can get these at walmart in 12 15 and 18 inch size all you would have to do is get the stuff off the back(cork board)

GOOD FIND!
The only Stainless Steel strips of the right size I could find were from ACE Hardware, but they are still magnetic, and from what I read about the quality of the magnetic Stainless Steel, it is supposed to be suspect for use in a HHO generator like the smack.
I'm getting the nylon rod and SS nuts tomorrow morning at GRAINGER, and tomorrow night I'll return the ACE Stainless and get look at some Walmart rulers.
Hey archangel, If they are magnetic they are no good. low quality of stainless. basicly they will rust in the water. Best thing I found for the price and size is SS switch plate blank covers. the ones at home depot are 304 SS and about $1.50 each. I just bought a 4'X7' sheet of decorative 304SS off of craigs list. Its the type that has little rectangles that every other one is raised up. hope it will work great for HHO. got it very cheep for the size. I hope to get what i need of of it and sell the rest and make my money back.
I just found an old push cart that they threw out at work, roughly 2'X3' with three shelves and it looks like 1" angle iron for the uprights, all SS. I don't really need it as I have a friend who works in the mechanic shop. They have a shear there and I can get the oddball scrap from him and we cut it to size on the shear. You might look at places like hospitals, restaurants, and sheet metal fabricators who do range hoods for food service and the like for scrap sheet SS.
I got my plates cut today and I was going to buil my 14 cells in one unit till the guy handed me the plates (4" x 8 1/2" about .060). I dont think one plexiglass box could handle that weight unless i use 1" thick. I guess I will have to go with 2 units.
Milehigh... how did you keep your plates spaced? I guess from the sheer mine all have some sort of warpage to them. Do tou all think some good epoxy down both sides would work well? They say you should seal the edges to keep voltage going through the plates not around them.
I know I had more questions just cant think of them right now.
