I purchased an entire 21 wire loom from EZ wiring, and love it. All the wires were tinned,/copper to preclude corrosion, and every wire is marked with its own ID every 8" or so, which makes tracing in the future way simple... It took a day and a bit, to put it all in, make connections, and everything works perfect, as well as being nice and neat... Plenty of length on all the wires...well worth the money and time... old wires can cause lots of problems..

Baja
Thanks Baja. Can you look at your distributor and tell me if mine looks like it needs to go down? See the pic I posted yesterday. Thxs
One step closer... What's left:
(1) Install the Airtex electric fuel pump
(2) Finish Tach install and bezel (I did a mod on the bezel to take an in-dash tach. I think it looks sharp)
(3) Tighten plugs and plug wires
(4) Turn the key! :-)
I am concerned about the bolts you have on the water pump. I see they are not the originals and there aren't any washers, lock or otherwise. Other than that nice job.
This is a great thread. Makes me wish I had my grandpap's 79 F100. He traded it in 20 years ago and it was covered in rust... I have no doubt it found the scrap pile. I can't wait to see your finished product!

Good point... I missed that but thanks for the heads up.
This is from today... my hands a vibrating from using the buffer for hours on the hood today. Wow, it looks great. Photo does cover up a lot of the bad spots and areas I was not able to buff out but it looks a lot better! Will put the hood back on soon.
