yeah sorta have them but will have look for the p/n's

To answer your Question No! I only shimmed the 4 cab ones up, I then remove the rear cab shims when using the ford OEM 4wd cab cushions.

Where as the LMC an many others who don't have the 4wd cushions but just the 2wd cushions, this was why my cab rubbed at the tranny hump side lip as it sat a little bit to low with the 2wd cushions installed.

Your old Ford OEM cushions may still have the p/n # on the sides but may have warn off by now.

If you mean my posts #17 and #18, yes. Those are for a F100/250 4X4 and F350.
On a 4X2 the rear cab mounts are different.

Ok, did and should have took some pics. I will be able to put the line back on it sunday or monday and take some pics to post. It looked to me like the bed needed to go up apx 3/8 inch and the cab needed to go down 3/8 inch. I need to focus on the fender and door bump and see if string line is good first.

I'm going to post some pics of the OEM absorber I bought. The numbers on the box are correct (I think) but the numbers on the absorber are not but close.

C4TZ-8100154-D on box / C6TA-8100154-C AU REAR on absorber
Then the other part...
C4TZ-8100155-D on box / C6TA-8100155-C AU on absorber

Also the new absorbers are 1.5 to 2.5 inches thicker than what is on the truck. If those are the correct absorbers that will raise the cab even higher than the bump bed lines (which might be correct) but I'm having a hard time figuring out what is going wrong. The guy who originally had the truck did say he replaced the front absorders around 97 or 98. But something is not adding up.

And it seems like about 1/3 of the parts I'm ordering I have to return. That is one reason for the frustration. So I'm not losing interest in the truck but I am losing interest in doing it myself. So I have to figure this out or try to find a place and pay a few thousand to have the work done. I will have pride in the truck either way but would have more pride if I can do most myself.

Guys, what are your thoughts?

This is looking from the garage floor up at the bottom of the absorber. Does that look stock or factory correct?

This is looking from inside the front cab mount down at the absorber. Does that look right and how do I remove the upper from the lower?

Those were designed to lock into each other and then rust together.
This why most all need to be cut in half to get the off.

Guys, what are your thoughts?
The C4TZ numbers are part numbers. The C6TA numbers are Engineering numbers. Two different animals. You are putting the cart before the horse. You haven't mounted them yet. You feel how soft of rubber they are? They are going to smash down when you mount them.
What 3rd parts are you returning? Aftermarket parts?

I called DC to check today and they sent wrong absorbers. All the absorbers are for 64-66. So sending those back and the rad support kit. Those are wrong as well. He told me to call Green Sales as they have more NOS / 4x4 parts.
