That's the way I felt, when I exhausted my search abilities, for the big hub Ford ones. The ones I have on my '68 have worked fine for the past 3 years now, with no problems. I like the bronze centers too. No plastic.. is a good thing.
I could not find any of the Ford original hubs or parts when rebuilding mine, so bought direct from Warn Hubs, and ordered the HD replacement. It has the brass center, which won't break like the Ford ones. I still have my Ford ones, and do not intend to ever use them, so if you cannot find the parts in the USA, I will bring the centers North with me in late Jan, and ship them to you if you wish.?? The price is FREE, you just pay the shipping from Texas...

Thanks for the offer... lets see which way I go. Can you send a pic of your warn hub or send a link so I ckeck them out?
I found some warn hub images that look nice. Just have to make sure buying right ones. But they look solid!
Where can I find Lock-out hub? aka Actuating ****? Both of the **** function (I think) but the other one is very stiff and the Ford part is tore off. I remember that side always being hard and he would use pliers. When I take the other side down I will see if I can find out why and fix it. In the mean time does anyone know where I can find one or a set of these OEM *****? Thxs:
The ***** were part number D2TZ1A029A. Discontinued 2002 or earlier. None on any of my locators or evilbay. But lookie what www.dennis-carpenter.com has! If I remember right there was a pin that was in the back of these *****. Don't forget them.
Yep, I know I am missing one lug nut.. prolly lucky to have 7.. this hub has the chrome hub shield installed.. This shows the running boards and aluminum backing for the mud flap, as well as the fender flairs.
brother Russ,
When, I change over to disc brakes axle, I had to replacement my outer hubs with new replacements. The neat thing was they were o-ringed an no funky hub leaky hub gaskets.
Was Wondering if you also got the upgraded o-ring hubs ??
F2501972 Look for the o-ringed hubs much better.

That would have been cool. But I called DC and CS said could see it but showing Not in stock and there was no ETA. She said to check back in 8 weeks. Thanks for reminding me about the pin.
Thanks for posting the wheel hub pics. Is your truck Wind Blue as well or is it white? I couldn't tell but either way it looks to be very clean and your fender to door lines are great.

Russ I know this don't sound so good, But you need some new nuts.
I should be putting new oil in the knuckle by tomorrow night. I'm thinking about using a long tube and gravity to fill knuckle. But with all the areas that I will need to fill is there a tool I can buy or a better way to fill all those oil areas?
