Do you have a picture of your radiator mounted in the truck? Curious as to what the sheet metal looks like that supports the rear mount radiator. I have a 68 250 4x4 that the PO put a 2wd core in with a 2wd radiator. Meaning it is front mount radiator versus the rear mount radiator of the 4x4. So if push comes to shove you could buy the 2wd core and remove the sheet metal from your 4x4 core support if its good Or buy a 2wd radiator to mount to your new core support.

FWIW I screwed up when I ordered a 4x4 replacement radiator not knowing I had a 2wd core support.

Yes, now I understand. So I need to make sure it is a rear mount.

Where is that rear mount rad support in your pic :-) Is that sitting somewhere waiting for a new home? :-) Having a hard time finding one.

I have only seen 2wd core supports listed. Maybe someone else knows where to find them.

This was posted by 1982fordf100 and he says to copy as needed.... Becuase I'm on the search for the rad support thought I would post it...

My Blue oval truck parts catalog the other day in the mail. Very good parts inside of it and some good information about our trucks. They even have the production totals for each model for every year in the front of it. Also alot of other useful information such as decoding VIN's. Since its a free catalog and they are our sponser I'll have to order some parts from them soon.

Here's a list of all the websites that have free catalogs available:
1. Truck Parts & Truck Accessories for Chevy, GMC, Ford & Dodge Trucks | LMCTruck.com
2. National Parts Depot | Restoring American History | Mustang Parts | Camaro Parts | Chevelle Parts | Ford Truck Parts | T-Bird Parts | Firebird Parts | Chevy Truck Parts
3. www.blueovaltruckparts.com
4. Dennis Carpenter Ford Car, F-100 Pickup Truck, 8N, 9N Tractor and Cushman Scooter Restoration Parts
5. The Paddock | Performance and Restoration
6. Early Bronco Restoration Full Size Bronco Restoration Classic Ford Bronco Parts For Sale
7. Centrally located right here in the heart of Oklahoma

Copy and paste as necessary.

I put tape on to see body lines better. Should there be a spacer bushing between the frame and the truck bed? As you can see my bed needs to come up 1/4 or 3/8 inch.

A man's got a do what it takes to make it look right!

I made up some nylon large 3/8" thick washers the same size as my body mount cushions
to get my cab up to keep the inner part of the tranny hump from rubbing the 5sp o/d tranny. This was when, I was using LMC Cab mount cushions.

I since put back in oem cab mount cushions an a big thanks to one an only the Bumpster King II Jeff.

It took a while to track down all the pieces for the 4wd cushions upper & lower locking insert washers.

If you need to do front cab mounts that can effect cab to bed figment. Pull a string don't the front fender to the tail gate to see what the bump line is doing

Jeff, I agree with orich :-)

Can you confirm that the rubber cab absorbers from page 2 are the correct ones for the 4x4? I'm going to order those and want to make sure they are for the 4x4 cab as well. Thxs

I also looked in the manual books I bought and can not find the right place where they show the bed bolting on or the cab bolting on. Where can I find a 4x4 frame to body diagram? Maybe that will solve part of the mystery.

I'm still searching for a rad support and have a couple leads I found on this link https://www.partshotlines.com/component/phl/search/
Going to make some calls tomorrow.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate my friends on this site!

Orich, did you bolt your bed directly to the frame or was there a spacer?

Do you have the 4wd cushions upper and lower part numbers?

Thxs-
