I still need to replace brake line passenger side (this weekend hopefully).
Ordered a Holley carb kit from Holley for 51.00 and will try to have rebuilt by end of month.
Working on other items when I can...
My Grandmother was able to make it out and see the truck. That was nice to show her the truck in person but she has not felt well in some time so although she is excited for me and the progress so far it is overshadowed by her health. Even with that in mind, it still gives us a topic to talk about other than how she is feeling.
On reproduction parts like the inner fenders and core support, should I go for OEM or would LMC have good body parts like the inner fender and core support?
I also read a 1973-1979 core support will work on my 72. Is that true?

Yes the rad support will swap in just a few holes to drill an one, one inch square hood latch to cut an insert the J-nut for the latch bolt brace.
I've only bought LMC stamped sheet metal bad cab mounts an about every rubber seal that has all had to be replaced with 3-5 yrs due to weather checking from the ozone. Most rubber seals said made in Thailand.
Any one who needs to replace cab mounts should buy the better mounts as the cheap ones are soft an thin that will split around the rubber cushion.
Oh did buy a full carpet that was okay but understand that the kits come from like one vendor was simi padded more so around the tranny hump area tho.
Can't help ya on the fender well sheet metal.

The wheel above was on the rear back (2 wheel studs missing). Look close at the wheel and you can see where 6 are -not- so good and 2 are great shape. I put this wheel on the front. Any idea where I might find a match to buy this rim? 16.5 rim. I will have the other side off tonight starting on the brake line front passenger.
Try Discount Tire if you have one in your area. Those guys, are usually eager to please, and knowledgeable. They found me some 8 lug wheels on the older 6.5" center, and not the newer 160 mm lug pattern like the newer trucks. 16.5's are going to be hard to find at best, and I am not even sure if they make those tires any more...

What do you guys think about the rim? It does tighten down with the lugs. I'm not sure why 2 studs broke and 6 were damaged but with it now on the front it has the 2 lugs that are 100%. I'm wondering if that rim will be fine or if it is burnt toast?
Passenger side brakes: Wheel Cylinder was locked so this side will require a new one. It's been 30 years but again I'm learning how to ride a bike again lol. I'm rusty but I'll have it as good as new in a few days.
I'm guessing at one time the lug nuts were not tight enough. Broke studs and the wheel moving back and forth on the studs made the holes egg shaped. That wheel is junk IMHO. You may get it to tighten down but this is a safety issue. Like plugging a nail hole in the slick of a race car. You would be far better off buying four 16" rims and new tires. Even used steelies out of a JY.

I thought about 17 or 18's as well just to make sure they clear and gives me room to upgrade brakes down the road if i wanted. It's a 8x6.5 bolt pattern. From what I read the Ford truck rims from 1967 all the way till 1997 should fit my truck. I read that the bolt pattern was an 8x6.5 on Ford, Chevy, and Dodge for a lot of years but the Chevy had a smaller inside hole. So it was saying that a Ford would work on a Chevy but not the other way around. The rims are something low on the list right now but because I had them off working on the brakes thought I would post. Down the road I will put some nice wheels and fresh meat on those bones. That might be a while. Last thing on the list will be paint.
Thanks again guys for the help! The task is way more digestible with comments, tips, links, and encouragement.
I like Dennis Carpenter for parts. I have been to their shop in North Carolina and found them to be real knowledgeable and nice. The other place for parts is Green Sales, nice people to deal with.
Ebay may be your best option for finding those wheels and possibly Craigslist too.
You might be able to find somebody to weld that wheel and re-machine the hole if you want to keep them.

Thanks... and funny thing I just had a conversation with a guy who told me to check on a weld and re-machine. Going to drop by the referral / shop today and see what he thinks.
