Since I had the wheels off anyway in the front thought I would throw the aluminum ones on to see what they look like. Not sure if I like them yet, and they are 16.5, so tires would be expensive.
nice looking truck... havent seen that color scheme before... theres a dually of the same body style down the street from the house for sale.. (thinking its a diesel but havent stopped to really look at it).. where yours is silver this ones white... and where yours is blue this ones a tealish color... think they called it calypso green?? looks more like a faint blue than green to me...

thanks Shaun. The body work took months, with a lot of help from the guys on here. It’s the first vehicle I’ve painted and it’s certainly not perfect by any means. But I’m happy with it. I think body molding will hide some of the imperfections when I get to that.
I do love the calypso green they had, but I don’t think it came out till the 92-96 body style.

it may be another color. I justknew that was a tealish like color used on that body color. I suck with color names. Lol
Dustin,
Horrible, horrible engines, my better half has one in her mustang, it's an engine of constant sorrow.
I need to fix the timing, runs but 4 dead cylinders. Theres alot around, we'll see how this one is when it's running right. I like the truck, and beyond swapping a 5.0 from an explorer, no other engine options.

Check out this video, Dustin. It's part 3 of a 4 part series.
I watched all 4 parts.
Is\Was the tool you are using the same as the one he has? Did the piece lay flush when you timed it?
Yes, but I should have rotated the engine another revolution before I set the cams. Found a guy stating exactly what it's doing. The ford shop manual doesn't account for all situations
Mirror switch came in, fixed the power mirror issue, cruise switch came in, fedex threw it over the fence unlike the other boxes and my "little" Tasmanian devil puppy shredded it. They are sending another.
