I was going to ask if you used spicer joints, that’s about all we ever use on the big trucks. I was neck deep in a 3406B caterpillar engine today. It’s been a good engine, I’ve managed to stretch it out to 1.4 million miles so it time for a rebuild. I’m going to do the work myself but dang the cat parts are high.
whats the cat on??

i actully was a CDL instructor for several years, it’s really not that difficult plus all the big companies are going with automatics now. I will admit though, with all the fed government intervention and regulations, truck driving has become a lot less of a desirable job.

desirable if ya dont have a job though lol.. when i went to college i thought about taking the truck driving classes... but they were 10 hrs long 5 days a week and didnt feel i could stand sitting in class that long... took welding instead.. partly because i had a welder and wanted to learn how to use it properly... actually pretty good at it... but havent been able to get a job doing it... get a "friend needs something fixed" weld job.. last one ended up costing me more money than i made.. (ended up taking a trip to the ER.. bill there took all my profit and then some)...
i did grab the DMV book once for the CDL thing.. but not sure where it went... VA book was 1/2" thick.. where the regular driverslicense books like a pamphlet..

Didn't realize I hadn't been on here for two weeks, a lot going on. So to answer your question, got married the end of July. You've actually met her Josh, I brought her to one of the monthly dinners. Speaking of bringing my wife places, May 10-12 is one of my fishing club's camping/fishing trips, usually clashes with Spring fling, so hopefully we can make it this year.
