There really isn't more than just a smear of Bondo there for straightening purposes. Compared to the last cab that was on the truck that was about 90% Bondo.
It is not so much the Bondo or how much but that it still needs more sanding to get it smooth. It is the edges that get me more than anything. If you made it rolling hills and no sharp edges I would be ok with that.

Thanks for the offer. I only had the 2 I needed to install and they are in but may need to replace 1 as I think I pulled the threads out, bolt was too short.
I did look into the tool does the 1442 do 5/16" nutserts? How about metric? I don't install enough of them (yet) to buy one but if so I would want one that does both.

10-24, 1/4-20, 5/16, M5, m6, and M8. I bought the extra 3/8s anvil, and I think there's an m10 one you can buy too. Let me know if you need me to swing over and crimp them in, it works well.

If weather permits tomorrow (Saturday 17th) I am going to slap these F250 springs in my F100. I'm getting them cleaned up today and will grab some fresh hardware to make the job go smoothly.
Springs are cleaned up and painted, got new bolts and nuts for everything I could. Anybody that wants to wrench, I'll be hitting it about 8:30, Dave said he would stop by. Job probably won't last but an hour maybe hour & a half. I'm ready to end this sagging problem forever..
Well I pretended I knew what I was doing, and gave the golf ball a fresh coat of paint.
I fought off the pollen, and sprayed it, it turned out pretty decent. It's a decent 10-15' footer for a back yard carport job with a Harbor freight gun. If It wasn't a mud truck I'd of spent alot more time on it.
Nice colour. Made me think of a question. Where's everyone get paint for spraying? My BH will want the truck metallic pink or something I bet so I'd better start thinking about it early.
That's a pretty color blue for sure!
Ugg the NAPA store where I live sells paint, they sell NASON which is the common brand a lot of body shops use, and you can look through a stack of paint samples as thick as a phone book to find the exact one you want. I also found out recently that Sherwin Williams has come out with a line of automotive paints that is supposed to be available in their stores, which you know every town has a Sherwin Williams place. But I don't know much about their automotive paint.
Different branches sometimes have automotive paint of either NAPA or Carquest, I believe. Sherwin Williams has a few branches that have automotive paint, I don't know if that has changed any. I've also ordered from AutoPaints4Less.com. However some of the color wasn't quite as I was expecting.
I built a bumper step this weekend from junk laying around the garage. Already used it. Everything was already laying around. Cost zero. If I did it again I'd use a 2X12 and put a hitch ball on top. But for free and very little time it works fine.
I replaced the busted bug guard and threw on some new-non chewed up moldings for the brush guard. Have to get the front end aligned, it's cupping the pass side tire. Just realized it's been exactly one year since I bought tires,22k miles on them.

I like the blue, The pic of the truck didn't come out real well, do you have a better one?

I like how that sits. Looks good. Now it's time for you to go to Lowes and pick up all the spring stuff to get the yard ready right? Wonder how it'll handle a load with the new springs?

22k in a year is no joke. I think they average most drivers at 12K a year. How are you liking the tires?
