6:30 to 4:30 was working on my project.
I did not like what I found when I stripped the bed sides so I took them down farther to get the rust.
I did both bed sides and the front header panel. What the air tools could not get to it was hand sand..........not fun!
Once I was happy with the panels I hit them with acid to kill the rust.
Then I get to do a little filler work and prim them when the acid does it work..
I then will mock up the panels on the bed floor to make sure all is good then get to drill all the holes and mount the sides & header panel.

It's cool Dustin. Hope y'all got your projects done.
Got the hitch mounted today. I tried to keep the original fogs but gave up after wasting a bunch of time. Josh and John helped me put it back together. Thank goodness. It would have taken me a heck of a lot longer by myself. It was tricky getting everything lined up and tightened.
I spent my weekend building this little center console so that I'd have a place to put my drinks & phone & whatever else. The drink holders are header gaskets and the phone holder is a turbo gasket, and just some aluminum spacers to give it the right height.

Well I spent a little time on mine this weekend, got the majority of the wiring done. I finally got the switch panel and gauges in and mounted. I was also able to get the seat where I wanted it, and mounted.
Spent Friday night finishing up the wiring for my upfitter switch panel, replaced a burnt up fog light housing and helped a buddy finish swapping an amc 401 into his 79 j10, need to do a wheel cylinder, otherwise it's bout ready to drive.
Dang Dustin that housing really got melted bad, any idea what caused that? Like did he upgrade to hotter brighter bulbs or something?
James I did get it installed, but was not able to fit the subwoofer box inside it. I've got it under the seat but still need to work something out regarding the adjustment cable.
