So some parts showed up for the truck. The body bushings showed up, and my shocks showed up... should be getting some more work in on Ol' Blue this weekend again.
Dang. Haven't seen any duff stuff in a long time. I didn't even know they were still making off road products. Cool.
I checked out the harbor freight badlands 12,000lb winch. Mostly good reviews online. Great price and can be had cheaper on sale. They also have the receiver cradle for it. I'm going to wait till it goes on sale again and probably pull the trigger on it.

Put a ****** block on the list. I know the warn my dad has is 9k or so, has no issue pulling a 10k+ tractor on a Gooseneck with a ****** block to cut the line speed and double the torque.

Sales book that came today has a store coupon for 12,000 lb./ $299.00
It is brand-new, guy bought it and ended up selling everything.
I plan to have the truck up and running again by the end of March/April. Not sure when the new engine will be done. I've still got about $3k in parts to buy for it.
Worked on the on board air system last night, mounted the compressor bracket, made a shield for it and working on mounting the horn right now. Had some hitch hiker want to go for a ride too
Cab is bolted down, gutted under the dash and set the core support in place. Ordered another piece for my steering, then I'll be ready to start hanging fenders.
Got a little bit more done before the rain today... passenger door back on. I also got the MSD mounted on the dash, and the distributor/ coil hooked back up. I got the pedals pull out of the old cab, just got to get them mounted back in the new one.
Hey guys! First time posters here at FTE and in the NC section but a long time lurker. I have always had a couple Powerstrokes but got a new 17 this year. Looking forward to hanging out with y'all and gleaming new information!
