Man was it cold in the garage yesterday. Was 30* when I first got out there and with the heater running flat out for 8 hours only got up to 48*.
Got the flare side bed front panel lower lip welded on and welds ground down. When it get a little warmer I will give it a coat of filler and prime it.
I then took the bed running boards & side panels off the floor so I can trim the floor side edges back even to the side panel edge. They were marked when I was fitting everything together. I also hammered & dolly the dents out of the side panels.
Once the floor is trimmed I will set the floor up on end to clean, prep & paint the bottom and get it on the truck out of the way for now. I think it will have to come back off when I paint the cab.
I still have to work on the side panel lower lips that are rusted away and if not for this cold wave I would be out working now.

Dusty, looks like a great score for 100$ and some work. Are you planning on switching your tires over and running the new wheels?
I have a buddy around 40/42 that may trade me some ok shape 16x10s for these, not sure what the plan is, just saw a good deal and jumped on it, they'd work fine on mine too

If you ever put the ones on your truck up for sale, let me know.
Look great Dustin, a little elbow grease made all the difference!
I'm working out a deal to get some F250 leaf springs for my F100, I'll definitely be a lot happier to have it not sag so much whenever I carry a load. Although I won't be doing any wrenching until the temperature is above my age.

John, I have my excursion springs, blocks, etc if you want to experiment.
Wow, July. Ouch.
Those are probably too wide, the old ones were only 2.25" wide and everything since then has been 2.5" or more. Should be a direct bolt in though. I'll post pics when I..... wait July, did you just zing me?!
