Next you both post a video of dropping your pants and measuring. That's about as useful.
You are absolutely right. With governors, cops and left line idiots -cars speeds means absolutely zero. Still leaves human factor. I was beating up all Corvettes, V10 and so on while driving 90 hp family diesel wagon VW.
Than again -life is full of variations. In my 25 years in California have never seen a plow mounted to a pickup. My SUV was pulling 5000 lb boat on ramps just fine.
1 foot of snow? Seems well design car with 8" clearance can deal with that, while giving safety and comfort. YouTube - Mercedes Benz C320 4Matic in the snow
you talk about owning an suv and then talk about how people dont need a superduty? really? my 97 blazer averaged 16 mpg my truck averages 12.9-13.2. i can at least put stuff in the bed. a suv is about about as useful as a car.
in ny almost every truck has a plow mount. i guess you dont live in a part of the state that gets much snow or your just oblivious to what goes on around you.
i love how you over simplify things. to prove your point. Boat ramp angles are not all the same. some are have steep grades and some are not. it also depends on traffic and the fluctuation of the water levels. when the water levels change alot like are lake from the hydro-dam. Algy and other plant life grow on the ramp and when you get a lot of traffic well it causes the ramps to become very slippery. by the way did you use 4x4 in ur suv.
As for the snow you got to be joking me right? thats a dusting on the road. if you think thats snow on the road that isnt snow thats a joke. we have gone home at night and my friends Subaru sti has gotten stuck. my cobalt with snow tires has gotten stuck coming home from work in the middle of the night.
You are so contrary its not funny man. You have to prove that people don't need there trucks to try and prove a point. I mean you take a car in a video of like an inch on the road and said well handles great. give me a break man. Im dont mind discussing things but this is going now where but in circles because you have it set your going to prove me wrong whether you know what your talking about or not.

I'll let you know the next time I take my Superduty into 2+ feet of snow here on Long Island. A foot of snow ain't nothin'
When the snow is coming over the top of my bumper, even with Nitto highway tires, it still moves "safely and comfortably".
As for plows on pickups, this time of year, about 1 in 3 pickups has a plow on it.
You say yours is faster, I have a 0-100 video of mine I would love to post.
Want to make one with your car and then we can see who is faster?

You guys need to post up some 1/4 mile time slips. Hell with 0-100 get on a tree and show your reaction times, 60 ft times, 1/8th and 1/4 times.

Well. Bill is playing the game of changing the criteria for over 10,000 replies
He already admitted that without modification his car was having lower top speed than my diesel clunker. Now he claims he will beat my diesel in 0 to 100 mph race. He is probably right here, but how about 0 to 100 feet race? My diesel is having high and steady torque at low rpm. So when he will be burning the rubber from standing start at 6200 rpm, I will pass him with no mercy

some guy driving a new RX-8 thought the same thing at the track. He almost caught me at the end of the 1/4.... I was running my tow tune, Funny thing was he decided he could take me and was waiting for me at the front of the staging lanes for me to come back. I ran my 120race tune that time. he never caught up to me LOL
My V10 will out pull your PSD any day of the week,
If its close to stock and of the same age as my V10.
LOVE that statement!
If it's stock and of the same age and has bald tires and if it's raining and if it's nighttime and if I'm driving it and if my clutch doesn't slip and if I don't miss a shift and if it's a full moon and if I went fishing yesterday and if mom's making stew for supper and if your fuel filters are mostly plugged... Did I miss anything?!
