Than again -life is full of variations. In my 25 years in California have never seen a plow mounted to a pickup. My SUV was pulling 5000 lb boat on ramps just fine.
1 foot of snow? Seems well design car with 8" clearance can deal with that, while giving safety and comfort. YouTube - Mercedes Benz C320 4Matic in the snow
were still playing golf with that much snow
its funny you have never seen a pickup with a snow plow....thats what i do for a living here

How much weight do they have over the rear axle? Do they carry salt?
All the medium duty trucks for borough and state here are 2 wheel drive too, but they carry salt. All small trucks that only plow are 4 wheel drive.
However, I have also seen the medium duty 2 wheel drive borough trucks go up hills backwards to salt because they could make it up the hill going forward.

the more weight you have on ice the worse it is. but thats not the point. on pavment 2 wheel drive trucks can plow just fine. in my case, i plow the roads for the oil wells in the area. 4 wheel drive with chains is a must. and some times thats not good enough. a 19 mille long road is rough when you plow with the dozer
Wow, that is a great looking truck!
How do you like the 6.7/6 speed auto combo?
i love the motor/trans. the only thing i hate is the seats. there so rough on my back. im thinking of takeing them out and putting the seats from my 97 in it. when you spend 16+ hrs a day in the truck it sucks.
i really like the manual shift on it and the tow/haul. when the tow/haul is on and you just touch the brakes it automatically downshifts so you dont have to ride the brakes down the hill for 5 miles. not to mention i can put over a ton on anti-skid in the hopper and you forget its there. unbilevable power that thing makes
My V10 will out pull your PSD any day of the week,
If its close to stock and of the same age as my V10.
LOVE that statement!
If it's stock and of the same age and has bald tires and if it's raining and if it's nighttime and if I'm driving it and if my clutch doesn't slip and if I don't miss a shift and if it's a full moon and if I went fishing yesterday and if mom's making stew for supper and if your fuel filters are mostly plugged... Did I miss anything?!
That's good stuff!
Yea, its really not that complicated...
If You have a PSD that from the same era as my V10 and its close to stock, I will outpull it.

By what, 2 MPH? Thats just the limiter in the PCM anyway. Its not hard to get rid of. How often do you go over 128 anyway?

I don't drive 100 feet at a time. Either post a 0-60 video or 0-100. That is, if your so sure your car is faster.
I got called on it by a guy with a very modded PSD that my v10 could not beat. So I added that to the end.
Whats the big deal?
You don't remember you stood by that for like 100 pages then we spent 50 pages revising your signature when you realized you are not outpulling any bone stock 6.0 or 6.4 (or nbs 7.3). Haha
Yeah.
"If I end the race with at least 7 spark plugs still in."
Even with 7 spark plugs working, I'll pass your 7.3 sitting on the side of the road while you're changing out your 5th CPS, or your worn out HPOP, or your leaking oil lines, or your leaking EBPV pedastal, ad nasium. After 2002, the V-10 has the least TSB's than any Ford engine ever made. It's the most dependable, most reliable, best towing engine ever designed. Nothing has so far ever been engineered to beat it, even for longivity including overall cost to drive. All you need to do is check out the real figures that include mileage, usage including number of V-10 engines in RV's, fleet vehicles, etc. The V-10 is a no brainer for the absolute best Ford engine they ever made.
