I know, I just wondered how old he was because a lot his posts obviously sound like they are coming from someone young, and I was right, he is only 18.
I might be wrong but I believe he's just messing with you. I think he's older than you.

Thanks.
I'm young, but I have quit a bit of towing miles and mechanical experience under my belt.

Obviously not enough experience or there is no way you would think a V10 will outpull a 6.4 based on the 12 hp advantage or whatever it is... hehehehehe

Honestly, that explains a lot!
No kidding....Knowledge and Wisdom are 2 different animals... Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, but wisdom is knowing not to use a tomato in a fruit salad...Or trying to outpull a 6.4 with a V10...

Bought a new 2000 Crewcab dually with the V10 (still stock) and it does what I need it to do, but it has never seemed like the pulling power was as I thought it should be. Always hunting gears with speed control set and pulling even my single axle enclosed boy scout trailer. But it seems to get the job done. Gas milage drops considerably when pulling trailers of any description...8-9 mpg. Gets 10-12 mpg unloaded, so problably could have paid for the diesel by now. Maybe next time.

Getting rid of the stock 3.73s would help allot.
You have to remember that yours has much less power than the 05-10 V10s, and a tranny thats not as good.
You still have 60HP over the PSD that was sold that year.
