How about the 03-04 6.0s vs the V10 on longevity and reliability?
Aight then, what's the basis? Someone recently said warranty clsims don't mean much. So how do we do this? I'm 35k miles past warranty. Wanna see how long she last before she need out of pocket repairs? After all that is only fair right? I'll put my 04 up to it. If repAirs on warranty is counted I don't count.
3 years... 2008, 2009, 2010. Regardless, the worst PSD is still better than the best V10.
Early-2007 the 6.4's were out with the 6.0 looking body style. We have a few of them running around out here. You can tell by the exhaust. So I consider it 2007, 8, 9, and 10.

How old are you? Whenever I read a post of yours in this thread you just seem to come off as a younger person then myself, I am 28.
Bill was talking about buying and reselling in that that thread also. I dont think his age has anything to do with him reselling vehicles for a profit.
I'll call it 4, but 3.5 is still a far cry from 2 that the other guy claimed. I also thing the 6.4's legacy will read: "The STRONGEST PSD to date before the 6.7". The mileage isn't bad if you keep your foot out of it. Same with the fuel in the oil crap. Mine doesn't do it, but then again, I don't idle it for hours on end or drive around in the city while in regen. If it does go into regen while in the city, when I get to the traffic light area, I put it in PARK, which stops the regen for 15 minutes or so. Most issues with the 6.4 can be traced back to the operator and/or a lack of maintenance. Same thing with gasser problems. But, every now and then a lemon gets out the door instead of a lime.

Funny how Ford was quick to put out an ECU flash power update for the 6.7... I want one too!

So how did Ford fit the larger radiator in the '07 body?
The 6.4 was first available in production trucks early 2007 (March/April), but they were 2008 MY trucks. Much like the 6.7 that has been available for several months--in 2011 MY trucks.
While Ford probably had some test mules with the 6.4, maybe even few for customer evaluation like they did with the 2011, there were only three years of production vehicles--2008, 2009, & 2010.

Actually, they could not produce a 6.0 after December 31, 2006, and they stopped production before that. They started production on the 6.4 before that date and called them all 2008s.

I know, I just wondered how old he was because a lot his posts obviously sound like they are coming from someone young, and I was right, he is only 18.
