I would have to agree. If the gasser accelerated up the incline, then the diesel could have done it too.
The guess at the weight to me says an exposed trailer. I don't know about him, but I wouldn't guess a weight on an enclosed trailer.
Anyway, I may be in the market for a brand new truck (selling the 89 and 98 trucks. 81 and 86 are too close to sell). Do you know if it would be possible to get a new 2011 truck with the PSD and no other options. Just leather, and a radio.??
Where did he say he was hauling a car? He said the TRAILERS were the same size, but didn't say if they were enclosed trailers, or what he was hauling. If the V10 went from 50-60 with a little gas, the PSD's could have too. Especially a 6.4
its always the same type of post over and over. He never said a car. I gave an example of a closely loaded load. Meaning he probably had the same type of load as they were carying because he said that. Just because someone doesnt give you every last detail doesnt mean there lieing or that they dont know what there talking about.

It will come with radio, A/C and an automatic on the lowest base models.
Best bet is to find a set of 08-10 King ranch seats and swap them in.
They won't put leather in an Xl (base trim) truck.

That's one of the reasons why I like when this thread gets a little off topic every now and then, it's like a refreshing moment rather than reading the same stuff/arguements over and over.
We/I do give gassers their credit, but that's not what yall want. Yall want us to bow down and let yall bash us in the head. We say hell na. Not with out a fight. We're all outside in our trucks waiting on yall. Guess what not only are yall calling us out yall expect us to come to yall. And supply the trailers.

?? In the Chevy's, the cloth is an option and vinyl is the base??
Anyway, the base has air??
Ill come to you and supply the trailer depending on how close you are... I have a fuel range of about 280 miles you know... itll pull like a Clydesdale but it eats like a whale.
Actually it's been the complete opposite, to be totally honest.
Yep, the opposite of what you just said... That guy was talking about a V10 outpulling a 6.4 by a large margin, up a hill with what he guesses were the same load and that the 6.4 was giving it "all it had". He's either lying, or he's trolling. But because you have a gasser, and are a mod, us PSD owners are picking on the gassers... Same guy also says he "checked the badges" when he went by them both, but, the 6.4 doesn't have a badge other than the F250 badges (the right one is an actual CAI port) and there's NO WAY he'd be able to read it saying power stroke at more than 5' away, and especially while passing it. It doesn't say 6.4 anywhere else on it. That alone makes me think "troll".

No its not. I've more times than I'll count the v10 is faster. Will pull any load my 6.0 will. On flat land it will run off on the highway. Put a heavyload on us from a dead stop and uphill the v10 will not out pull me and I'll do it burning less fuel. That's what just about everybody with has said. V10 owners are saying they will out pull our psds no matter what.
I'm in N.Alabama and have my own trailers. I have plenty of work.

This is the 1st time a v10 owner was questioned about his weight. We are questioned all the time. I've been questioned about my hay and my cattle's weight. You don't know anything about trailers if you don't know that 2 tailers looking simular can have big differences in their weight. Being an open trailer fid they both have wood or metal floors? I beam frame or c channel. Dual axels? I mean dang all like size trailers aren't built the same. Case in point my buddy and I have 38' trailers. Mine has a 4' dove tail w/ leveling ramps. Mine weighs 7200. His is straight deck w/ foldup ramps and weighs 5800. Both have 20k gvwr. 1400 pounds is a good start.
