Besides, how many times do you see regular DD's have cat failures and they never did a thing?
Ford has to meet 50 state requirements for their vehicles. Aftermarket tuners do not.
I've seen many failed OE cats with not a single modification to the vehicle. Failed cats is not the concern with EPA emissions certification. Catalysts have precious metals in them that over time with use deteriorate which makes the cats less effective. The EPA makes manufacturers use a set of 120K mile catalysts for full certification (along with a load of other little tests). These are tests that aftermarket tuners do not have to comply with.

None of them ever had common problem of plugs shooting out.
How Ford having 100 years of experience did allow it to happen on their prime gasoline engine?

Uhmmm.... Are you actually comparing a Ford to a Fiat? I mean Alfa's don't spit plugs either, but what the point in comparing an Alfa to a Ford, one of those will actually drive off the dealer lot when bought.

the metals don't detoriate, they conglomerate and sinter together, which causes all kinds of problems. But that is just details...

That's exactly my point. The Fiat engines 25 years ago had 150k km life expectancy, yet never spit the plug. Trabant 2-cycle engine required overhaul abut every 50k km, or 30k miles. No problems with plugs spitting neither.

I've known a lot more people have problems with their 6.0 PSDs' over any Ford gas motor by far.

I hope 6.0 owners don't take that personal, if yours has been a good truck, then that's great. I don't like hearing about broken down Fords.

Yup and no one argues that. But a v10 is not going to outpull a 6.0.

One of my cousins can't change her own oil or tire, but she works for GM assembling cars......
Good point, Assemblers don't make good mechanics......

Because HIS signature makes the claim that he can outpull blah blah blah, but in his posts he still claims he makes more power and more torque. I never realized his 2V made more than my 350/650...So I'm intrigued...

Speaking of gearing, I was looking at 2010 6.4L with the snow prep pack, It had 3.55 gears! and a torqshift. ......
I have an 09, with 350hp/650lb/ft of torque.

I wonder if the same can be said for the 5.4 vs V10 since the V10 is nothing more than 2 cylinders added to a 5.4...

I say I can outpull the same age truck.
A 3V will out pull you, not my 2v.

Bill, a 3v v10 will NOT outpull a 6.4. I am just staying in this thread to repeat that every time you say it. Then other dude will say his 2v v10 will outpull anything at a sled pull but a dmax wit 100 hp tune.
