Those were all parts I was going to replace anyways, so it saved me some time having to take them off You can find some really good deals on them if you look hard enough, but there a lot of them that end up costing more than if you just bought a non theft recovery one for regular price.

This is what I was thinking of, just a cheap toy that I can buy and fix up.

I really wasn't arguing with you, just stating it can be done. I even agree that if you are doing that on a consistent basis, the V10 is probably not the best choice.

As for over loading, I never overloaded my F250. I have an old Chevy 3500 crew cab dually that takes that kind of punishment back at the farm. I'm not a fan of Chevy, but it's what we have. My first truck was a Chevy and I bent the frame on it, cracked the leaf springs, and the cab mounts rusted away; it was only a 1/2 ton though. But I still take a Chevy over Dodge...
This is what I'm talking about. You climb and you have it floored to keep speed and maybe accelarate . I put my truck on cruise and barley the tac moves if at all. I know the truck will move the laod w/ out a doubt. I wish everybody would understand this as well.

We do understand it. The problem is there are places where the V10 CAN actually outperform a PSD because of the gear it's in and it's RPM range.

But it's OK if you don't believe us...

Just decide what weight you comfertable with. We'll load the trailers on the so we can both truck weighing the same. I guess I'll carry the camra seeing I'll be running behind. Be a good chance for you to get some fresh Bama air.

I know my truck will move a load without a doubt too. I would worry about breaking something in the driveline but never about the engines pulling power.

Are there any real pulls in Alabama?

40,000 lbs up a 10 mile grade, I don't think either one of us would make it to the top.
How steep are you talking about?
I got a trailer you can use. I don't know how steep it is to be honest w/ it. In some places its
everything but straight up. Its all up hill though

How about that:
my lowboy trailer is about 4500 lb, add my 10,000 truck on it and you can test your pulling power on those 1 miles grades I have all around my village.
Than we switch the trucks and compare mine?

You can out run me on flat ground or up a hill lightly laoded. Let's really load them up and work em. I have the better rpm range. I have the TQ on bottem. How do you feel you have a better rpm range or have some kind of advantage? Keep bumping your head. What you say makes no sense to me.

Okay so I'm calling bs on this. There's no fresh air in Bama, unless you suck it frrom GA. The only good thing about Bama is that it keeps GA from sharing a border with Mississippi.

You know what a tornado and a Bama girl have in common, you no sooner or later there gettin a mobile home.

The last hurricane that hit Bama caused $25 million worth of improvements.

When a Bama girl and her boyfriend get married, are they still legally brother and sister?

You should have been told that trying to argue with an idiot makes one also look like an idiot; therefore, I'm done with you ........ move along now. I have facts you have, well I won't speculate on what you have or have not, along with another trolling poster here. If you need to read it again just scroll back a few pages in the thread, it really hasn't changed trust me, oh wait you can't do that, okay it's all gone then.

I was in Atlanta in july. That place sucks. It stinks. I didn't find anything good. Now that I think about it I don't remember seeing the 1st woman with any teeth in her head. Thank God for ol' Alabama.
