Refering to a past comment, re: eating beasties. That is an extreme situation guys. I am an avid animal lover.
Yes got to love those Alberta clippers.
Hoping for a little bit of snow to try out my new snowblower, last crap around here way to wet.

Always do!!
Was out grocery shopping this afternoon. Favorite days to go are one's like today!! Not many other shoppers!! Had to rush home as they cancelled school busses this afternoon, only after hammering down to go get kids in time, the busses were all lined up at the school and my chitlans were on one allready. Uball and raced home. They were waiting outside, shoveling off the deck for me
Wife was comin home from hosp for the evening but turned back. Had to be back early am to take over from her sister so prolly for the best. Barely seen her since Xmas MIL still fighting it. Rough on her and she's getting weaker by the day but she's still with us and for the most part, all there !! It's great, but hard. Hard to see, Hard for her to go through, and Hard on the Family to see her go through this.
On the positive side, every minute we get with her pain free is an absolute blessing

She's a heavy, wet snow outside right now and they are calling for rain tonight so this should get interesting in a couple 4 hours!!

Thanks Sparky

You should give them my home number if they ever need a hand. The snow drifts around there can get pretty crazy. The way the trees in the farmland around that side and the east side of town get. Last year, the snow was easily 3' deep on both ends of town after a storm. I got called 20+ times in 2 days to pull people out who tried it. They all said they saw tracks going in. I said yeah, there mine from the last guy I pulled out. It ended up where I was driving in 50-70' to reach them with my 50' strap. Was so deep the plows couldn't even do it. They had to bring in loaders to clear the road. Was fun to drive up beside them and ask what they needed. Thinking of it now I should have taken vids..... I took a pic of one guy who took a run at it with an ole 85 F250 Diesel. Pushed the whole front end in pretty good. Had a heck of a time getting him out. Don't know why people tried it cause it was that deep for at least a 1/4 mile.

I'll let them know, but this time she got her bus stuck so they got a tow truck to pull it out because they didn't have to pay for it. Also I found out recently that she use to drive the bus that picked up your little girl.

I hope no one is getting blown away tonight. Not sure what the wind speed but it has got to be at least 60kph.

We're sustaining 60km/h with gusts to 95 km/h. Its nuts and a little scary.

The wind has died down quite a bit but its still blowing. Waiting for daylight to see how much damage has been done. Also hoping the house I was framing is still standing. We put a lot of extra bracing on the walls and trusses that we had stood, I just hope it was enough.

Hope everyone survived the storm!!!
