What kind of issues are you having with the motor?
Nothing too serious. I did a fairly large hp build (hopefully around 425) and converted to a roller drive train. I've been having issues with the carb running with low vacuum and with setting the rockers/valves. I ordered a new carb that should eliminate the first problem and think the second problem might be due to improper length pushrods. So I bought a new intake (just because, lol) and when I'm swapping it out I'm going to check the push rod length and then order the proper ones if mine are incorrect. Should be fun once it's running properly. Always something to fix on a toy!
Thanks for the advice. I will have to check that out. I'm also a member on a Mustang Forum in the US but can't always get friendly advice from those south of the border guys, haha.
While I haven`t spent much time in the FTE small block forum I`m sure that there`s
afew good experts there too. Good luck with your Mustang and I hope to meet up with you this summer!
If they're anything like the rest of the guys on FTE I should be in good hands. Thanks again for the advice and hopefully we can have a cold one later this summer
