Depends on the work you get into. I thought of buying one too but it seems I wouldn`t have enough use for a transit. The good one man transits are too many $$ for me to justify so far. If really needed I could always rent one.
Seems there`s still lots of new building going on here, we`ll see more in afew more months.
thats the way it is here too... so far we've got until next fall booked already. thats not including anything that builders might sell between now and then... its a nice feeling.
i enjoy wrenching from time to time, but me and wood get along real well...
Okay Sherm, where were you when I had a shop to build????
So Sherm, is it the same for the screws with the head on the wrong end? Are they for the other side of the house too? Dang it I threw them all out for nothing....
The Alberta economy is slowing down. Supposed to be 15,000 jobs lost over the next year. Not good but it could be a lot worse.
Tammie I hope Paul is feeling better soon. All you can do is take care of him cause you know how men are when they get sick....
Well it's -10 C and snowing here today and hubby got called out to plow the roads. Doesn't look like much yet but the way people drive around here, there's probably a bunch in the ditch already.
fixed it for ya... but i'm a newfie...just transplanted here...
I know, double post, but Sherm, everywhere needs a few Newfie's.
I've only met one Newfie I didn't like (and I've met many over the years in the Military and here in the oilpatch) and to this day I still say he wasn't a real Newfie! I think he was trying to pass himself off as one...
i was likely here, and yes, the same principle works for screws... i have a client/aquaintence that just came back from whitecourt, AB. he goes up in the winter to truck water to the gas lease sites. he said last winter there was between 5 and 10 new lease sites per day, now its maybe one a week... thats the worst about Alberta... its always been boom or bust... never just a moderate form of growth where people could survive a short slow spell...
Yep alberta is definately slow right now. It doesnt pay for me to drive back and forth to work out there. Looks like im gonna have to find work around here till may!
Not that its hard to find work around saskatoon. If you dont have a job, you simply aint looking!
Tammie I hope Paul is feeling better soon. All you can do is take care of him cause you know how men are when they get sick....
I thought he was breaking out of it yesterday....but he is right back in bed today..... .....and I really enjoy taking care of him, I just wish he wasnt feeling bad so I could REALLY take care of him ......
