Wait a minute, you build houses for a living & your house has 2X4 walls, single pane windows, that's funny....
Yup...ironic isn't it? I guess that's what becomes of buying a property for the yard and location, not the house. The house was build in '75. I have plans to make it more energy efficient which will cost me less than building a new one again. In 2012 I build a new house for us in the city. We lived there for a year, the house was awesome, but we hated living in the city. If I survive another 20-30 years I would like to build a new house in this yard.

Its actually listed in order of expense as oil, electric, propane, and natural gas. I had a double kick in the nuts yesterday as I talked to a few people who said the consumption seemed excessive and wondered if I have a leak. I talked to the Co-op who of course don't to consider the possibility that they might have made a mistake, but at the same time they inform me that the price of propane has done up since my last fill. My 930 liters will cost me over $800 instead of the $600 I had figured. This is awesome.
Hopefully the insurance lady lets me know today that my insurance is in place. I'll be striking a match in the stove as soon as I hear the words.

G welcome to our world, lol. -27C feelin like -39C Blew the driveway out last night, and woke up to a full driveway again. The heck with it, I didn't blow this AM, too pissed off. To top it off my wipers screwed up this AM, yes too lazy and pissed off to give em a tap before I turned them on. Kalan said to me while waiting for the bus this AM "Dad, calm down, I'll shovel the driveway when I get home from school) That kept me in good spirits till I got to work. Have a great day and stay warm (especially you G)
Hey do you know where yer old Expo is so I can call them n ask for parts...
I'd like the mechanism that runs the 3rd row seats even tho you say its no good I might be able to make it work
G, check the MPI auction site. It probably hasn't been auctioned off yet. Look for a 2006 Eddie Bauer. If I remember, I'll try to get the Vin# for you.
Thanks guys for the warm comments. Its only -30 here but with a -40 windchill. Grant, did you get your puppy from a Lina Hergert just outside of Steinbach? Thats where this one is coming from, the puppies are about 13 weeks old by now so they could be from the same batch?
Randy I still like the German Shepard he is so sweet, Morris should adopt him for the farm there
I agree, he is really cute. It was so hard not to get him but they wanted to do a home inspection along with a random check up and because we live so far away there was a very slim chance we could have got him. So we went with a backyard puppy, its not quite the same as rescuing a dog but everyone wants a puppy so they usually get adopted.
Yeah almost all the shelters we looked at required a home inspection. It makes me happy that they care enough about the animals they dont just let anyone adopt their pets.

That Name sounds familiar. She was a couple miles south of Steinbach. She was breeding Golden and White English Retrievers. One of the Golden got out and had his way with a White and we bought one of them 3 yrs ago. They also had exotic ducks and were looking after cattle for a neighbor.
