The total tab was $2500, I paid the $500 deductible, insurance took the rest. Haven't insured it this season yet, its paid for and I'm undecided whether or not to insure it. On one hand its $750 that I could save and if something happened I wouldn't be out a sled and owe the bank a pile of money yet...on the other hand, its still worth a lot to me and I'd still be suffering a personal loss... Catch 22...
Curtis that is great news about your mother in-law! Me and my girlfriend are wishing her and your family the best. Once the weather gets that cold I think the laws of physics are reversed and you are not longer cold but burn from the cold lol. Also I wanted to mention, one more bonus of living in the middle of no where, 3 hours from civilization, is I don't pay for water .
Thats awesome of you two!! Amazing how this site brings people you don't know together to create such a positive outlook!! One day hopefully i'll be able to buy the 1st round for all these new found friends
Mumzie's(Dee) home for a bit this evening so i'm jumpin back to the fam here to enjoy some time with her. Haven't seen her much lately
Colin, I insured my sled for full replacement costs of 14g, all perils... Not sure if that makes a difference. Perhaps you have just the basics? Or perhaps its just the difference in companies. I think the last one I used was Echelon or something, through Western Financial Group. I have a ton of stuff through them, I don't usually have patience for shopping around for different rates unless I have probable cause...

I've met quite a few of the guys in the Sask area. Not one that I couldn't spend a few hours BS-ing with. Morris has an awesome spot with treasures hiding in each of his gazillion outbuildings on his farm. We've had little chapter meets there a couple time. Overdue for another one.
Dave from Manitoba came to Yorkton for cruise night one year, put on quite a show as he left, trying to light up the rear wheels on his dually Fullcrew I think is his FTE name. Haven't seen him about lately. Haven't met Colin from Roleau, or a few others yet but hope to.

I don't trust insurance companies so I always shop around but, you are right there are to many differences to compare rates.
NO SCHOOL today, busses are cancelled today, heavy snow advisory in effect....
Busses are cancelled here today also, but its because of extreme windchills, not snow. I'd donate some body parts (that I'm no longer needing) to have more snow instead of this cold...
I agree Curt Colin n all, this is a great family site.....
Reps to that !!

We need to plan a full meet somewhere central...
If something should work out where there's another meet, I'd look forward to planning to attend!!

Ur lucky, I'd take some more snow here opposed to this cold weather. Snow usually means warmer weather.

Cancelled here as well. Looks like it's not a "snow day" but a "Chill Day" for me and the holy terrors. Jus kidding. I'm a super lucky guy, both are super good and I love spending "daddy days" with them
Can't believe it, but Serina (10) has her 1st zit. Woke me up outa bed asking "what's this red bump" If anyone's going to be the 1st to pop it, IT"S ME
Hopefully you guys in SK have a safe day!! Chills there I read this morning are the lowest in Canada since Friday. Stay warm boys!!
Busses were cancelled here today too because of extremely unsafe extreme windchill, we don`t know about tomorrow yet. I guess it`s bitterly cold in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Is it in only parts of Ontario or all of it Gerry?
I`d like to have another chapter meet but there hasn`t been enough interest for quite a while. We are way overdue for one. Dave/Fullcrew has been MIA for quite awhile. Haven't seen him about lately. Haven't met Colin from Roleau, or a few others yet but hope to.
