I sure hope you don't get the rain Gerry!!! At this time of year that will make quite a mess and a dangerous situation!! We're having some beautiful winter temps now. -15 at night, -5 in the day. I love it.

Holy snapper batman.....RAIN. That's nuckin futz :P
I sure hope it don't. Lot's of hwy traffic through your neck of the woods and will make for disasterous roads!!

Good Morning everyone!!

Great day Yesterday. Got 226 kms on. It's not alot but I stopped at hosp for a visit there, met up with another friend and headed up north for a small ride. Suspension is getting closer. Can at least turn the shuffle buggy at speed now, just a bit much ski pressure. Ran into a huge hole on the trail on the way home. Groomer on 44 left a 3'bank and a 5' hole in front of it. Right on the trail. No where to go as it cut through snowdrifts on both sides same height. Must a have got stuck or something but I freaggen hit it. Pulled the groin pretty bad and shoulder screwed up. It was totally blind and nothing I could do until on it. They did mark it. With a small twig......... Worst grooming I've ever seen even leading up to it and after that as well. I saw the groomer heading that way in the morning when I fueled up at esso, so being dark by the time I got home I just trusted my regular route home. Big mistake. Reacting quick enough I panic reved in the air, hit nose 1st (still full throttle panic rev), some how shot out of the hole landing on my side with bars of the sled still in my hands and with it being soft enough on the side of it just stayed on it till I was back on packed trail. Thank goodness windshield was off cause I kissed the bars lol. Springfield groomers gotta get their crap together!!

Happy Friday mornin'all. Chiming in late. what a zoo around here today. Curtis, I wonder how many other people hit that hole last night. Call the springhill club and let them know what happened. They should carry danger marker's. Have a great day guy's.

Happy "Lucky Legs" Saterday Morning!!
Feelin much better today, guts n shoulder are still hurtin but alls good.....I think. Made a Dr's appt for Monday to get the bottom end checked out. Something not right.
Only damage to the sled was the rear flap, pulled through 2 rivits and bent the bracket a bit. I agree with ya Grant, they should have something marking it. There's a trust level when on a just groomed trail and maybe I shouldn't have been going that quick.

On a positive note, I have my nieces over for the weekend. So the sled will be in service pulling those guys around the field in the back 40!! Cameron was telling the girls last night...." I'm dad's co-pilot, I'm with dad ON the snowmobile and you girls get the sled" Hahahaha. Was priceless. I think we'll pull the quad out as well and have a lil fun on the driveway as well!! Looking forward to today!!

I wrecked a sled on the North Saskatchewan River one time, I hit a sand bar with the left ski, it flipped the sled on its side and the right ski dug into the sand. The guy beside my said the thing shot into the air about twenty feet! I did about six cart wheels and hurt my ankle so bad that I could hardly walk the rest of the winter. We picked up parts of my sled for a 100 meters!
