I will post some tomorrow that was the place i allmost screwed up the cab mounts are not exactly even that is what i was measuring off of. Good thing i rechecked before drilling. I measured from the front spring bolt on the rear end so the track should be straight i measured it like 20 times per side lol
Another quick question. I read about how hard to find the center trim for the headliner is to find. Mine is in excelent shape but i have to take it off to repair the rust in the cab. How is the best way to remove, without damage

Its plastic and just snaps on. I didn't care for it in mine, not that it looked bad but it looked out of place since it is different than the metal trim. Took trim from another truck and modified it.
Hipster or not, they are a very strong and reliable power plant, no arguments there. I just wish they came standard in Ford's so I wouldn't feel so bad associating my bad "A" Ford with a pos Dodge!
They do come in Fords. Just the medium duty trucks like the F-850.
The also come in boats, generators, busses and all sorts of other things. So not associating it with a dodge at all
Boy, i saw an absolute beauty the other day......I couldnt get close enough to see all the details, but it appeared to be a 78/79 Crewcab longbed 4x4.........two tone paint, kinda an off white/cream over a dark brown. looked like 4-6" lift, i couldnt see the emblems, but clearly either an f250 or 350. looked pristine, and its driver knew a short cut through town, so im guessing its a local to the Grants Pass, Oregon area.............

Here are a couple pics of the radius arm mounts. It was actually fairly easy. I just layed the torch sideways and scarfed the framr off the doner the same thing with the two wheel drive cross member. Then spread the frame and slid the center section in it. The only place the frames were differnt was at the tranny crosmember. I had to put a 1X1 spacer above the crosmember. Make sure u put the bolts in from the bottom or you wont be able to get them out once the cab is back on.
Hey, its been awhile since I've been on here guys so bear with me for a bit. Im currently building my 76 crew cab 4x4. And got a couple questions. I'm workin on puttin a 12 valve cummins in it right now with 75 over horse injectors, custom ground fuel plate. And an HX 40 turbo. but my real question is has anyone seen tow mirrors off a 2nd gen dodge put on an old crew?? or even just any 73-79 ford?? and my other question would be if they make AutoMeter aftermarket gauges for the old ford??? Any feedback would be awesome thanks guys
IMO don't do the dodge mirrors on your truck, Ive seen them on 94-97 f series and didn't like them there either. I prefer the 94-97 mirrors but that's just me. As far as the gauges go do you mean direct replacement or just 2 1/16 size accessory gauges?
Hello yall! new member here. I am starting to look for a new truck purchase. 78-79 crew long bed. I am wondering if you can save me some time and guide me to a good few sites that offer these dent sides for sale. is the classifieds here worthwhile? I am only interested in a restored truck, engine and trans doesnt matter, mostly looking for an extremely solid body/chasis. I have done image searches and a few sites came up both nothing that was frequent. Thanks in advance.
