SWEET FIND! Im jealous of the deals I keep hearing about.
Ive read through this whole damn thread and many of the threads over on oldfordcrewcabs and I gotta tell yall Im sick. Ive got to have one of these. Ive got my eyes open!
I am looking for any information I can get concerning my 1989 F350 Crew. I am restoring the truck and currently working on the rear doors. The drivers side rear door does not have a knee brace to attach the door panel to, is this normal or did ford neglect installing it?
I am also looking for service manuals for the truck, 1989 F350 Crew Cab Dually XLT Lariat.
Where did you find that? Doesn't look too rusty at all for being in the woods!
Yes, it is pretty nice. The cab, frame, and front end are great and rust free. It is supposed to run? The bed had wet leaves sitting in it for years and I dont know whether to repair it or look for a better replacement?
It was listed on Atlanta Craigslist, with a pretty poor description and without any pictures. I don't think he had many or any calls?
He also had this very rusty 1975 4x4. It was also a 390 C6, with a Dana 60 closed knuckle, low pinion front, dana 60 rear, and a divorced NP205 transfer case. I would have liked to have that transfer case, but could not see buying the whole truck for the transfer case. He gave the truck to his brother in law, so I might still be able to get it if I want it? Yes that is a turtle shell on the hood.
I have been gathering parts for a while, and am ready to rebuild/modernize the 1975 Crewcab. I am going to do the 2003+ Crown Vic front end swap and bought this wrecked 1998 Mark VIII as a engine transmission, and IRS rear end donor. The Crewcab should be kinda different with the aluminum DOHC motor under the hood. I could do a build? if anyone in interested???
Hi guys, I'm looking for info on locating rims that will mount on my 76 f600 4x4. I want to replace the stock split rims w/ rims that will accept 395/85R20 MICHELIN XML military tres. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey? Bobird. Nice line of medium duty crew cabs your messing with. Not many seen. But if your going with some 20's. I have always liked American force rims. They are pretty hefty on the price but well worth it. They have some aggressive offset. Meaning they have a very deep lip. With some aggressive mud tires or all terrain tires. It should catch a lot of attention!
What do you like for tires of that size. Truck will be used for parades and beach runs. And any guesses on rims?
