crew cab to rc lb chassis

hello all. I'm new to the forum so please bear with me
I have a 77 f250 4x4 single cab long bed that I am thinking seriously about putting a crew cab on with a bobbed short bed.
I was hoping someone might have an idea or two about the rear cab mounts in relation to the hump in the frame? maybe a body lift but would that throw off the geometry for the rest of the body?

power windows

installing power windows on the fronts were relatively easy. I just got finished installing them on the rear and it was more of a challenge.

since the regulators roll up from the front of the door panel on the front doors and the window crank regulator is at the rear of the rear door, this makes the angle of the regulator arm at the wrong angle in relation to the gears used for the regulators. also the front arms are about an inch too long.

I had to drill out and break the spot welds on the second set of front door window motor/regulators and turn the arm to match the original crank regulators. next I had to cut the arm and overlap it onto itself about an inch. then weld it back together and into position to match the crank regulator.

it worked first time for a full up down cycle after that. sorry i dont have pics but if any of you guys decide to get onto this project, i will see if i can get a good shot of them in my doors for you to see.

Who makes the best carpet or rubber mat that fits right and looks good for 73-79 Crew cabs? I bought a mat from LMC and I just dont like it.

This truck was for sale before about a year ago. Nice looking truck though and hes not asking the world for it either.

you LOL, but I use it as a search sometimes on CL and find parts/stuff others haven't because they just search the correct spelling. Lots of people out there don't know there's not a G on the end there and I'll sure capitalize on it!

Hipster or not, they are a very strong and reliable power plant, no arguments there. I just wish they came standard in Ford's so I wouldn't feel so bad associating my bad "A" Ford with a pos Dodge!

why all the animosity at a cummins swap? the cummins in the only reason why many dodge owners purchase a dodge over a ford. its the best of both imho.
