I have my 78 on jackstands and wheels off but front end (axel) won't drop enough to slide out oil pan. Any suggestions?

Larcou...are the jackstands under the frame and not on the springs??? That oil pan should come out no problem

Probably not the place to ask, but I need a cab for my 74 Crew. If anybody has one, I'd be interested in it.

And I thought my crew cab SHORT bed was overly long... If anything I shorten mine - not make it even more of a land yacht...

I think it's a state of mind Steve.
Can you imagine tailgating that damn Prius in front of you doing 55 in the fast lane. Kinda makes me smile.
Is it practical...........maybe.
Is it cool as hell...........oh yeah.
I dig it.

Oh don't get me wrong - I already do that.
Side note: In fact I'm setting up to have a "MOVE -->" sticker (with arrow!) die cut out of vinyl in reverse letters like they do on ambulances for the big, flat spot on the front of the hood. You know, where the 78/79's have the F O R D letters.

Anyways, I just don't need to have a 300" wheel base to move runty, POS cars out of the way. From their runty little hybrid POS my grill looks the same as now as if were to extended the truck. So what's the point? Long wheel bases aren't my style and I have to think realistically and that means parking here. They already make all the parking spots so small my old expedition barely fit. The turning radius of the crew cab was a nightmare before and I'm hoping the d60 front might have helped that slightly. The last thing I need is to pull and Austin Powers on the golf cart scene at the local home depot

If you guys like land yachts I'll try and get a pic of this one around here today. It is MASSIVE!

Yeah
I have a tough enough time with my crew cab longy around our lovely city.
But somehow the thought of anything even bigger makes me smile.
