So something finally went right, pulled all the old disgusting filthy carpet out and someone had actually taken the time to seal and paint the whole floor pan :-)
Would any of you guys now if a crew cab superduty(2000-2014) covers fit on the old school crew cabs? I figure it would but just wanna see if anybody has came across this question before
Anyone know where to get longer front socks, since I did the "leveling kit" on my truck my shocks are too short no one around here can either a) not find them or b) don't care to look they are stud, stud and I need an extended length of at least 28. Any help would be great
Ok, yea ill check out some more threads through the forum. One question I still haven't gotten a good answer is. I would like to level out my crew cab. I'm not a fan on the forward tilt of the truck But since it 2wd, no one so far makes a leveling kit. What would be my best option, (if any )to make my 2wd leveled? A co-worker of mine says to add a plate on top of the coils but that to me sounds like a poor idea. Maybe longer coil springs? I'm open for ideas.
this is how I did mine, I have leaf Springs in the front though
Gotcha now. I bought a cover for my 02 F350 CC longbed back in 2003 and I put it on my 73 F350 CC longbed last year just to see if it fits and it did. It was a little long but other then that it fit good. I bought mine from cover craft. You can get one specially made. I think you might have to give them some dimensions but they can make any type of cover. I thought about getting 2 for my crews since I dont have a garage big enough anymore to hold my trucks.
Ok, we'll then my co-worker does know what he is talking about. I feel much better knowing you have something like that done to your crew...is there anyway I could see some pics of how it's done to your CC? And your a Floridian also. Take any drives down to Tampa Florida? Be nice to see your trucks and appreciated them!(pitcrw6)
Heres a few pics of the front spring and tow in. At the bottom of the spring is a 1" metal base for the spring and below that is a 1" rubber spacer. Not sure if you can tell in the pic of the tow in but its there and you can definitely tell when you drive it. Just a slight turn of the wheel and your going there quick. I got pulled over once because the cop thought I was drunk and told him the deal and then showed him how they were towed in.

Thanks for the pics... That mod looks like a good one. So that 1 inch spacer gave you 1 inch of leveling lift? Or what the ratio?
Ok, I'm gonna try to make my spacer tomorrow and get longer bolts. But would there be a way to adjust the arms from pitting in? ( \ / ) "slash marks are the tires"
