Here is the posted info.

“Last Wednesday, July 3, I emailed Ted Cannis, CEO, Ford Customer Service, asking for help getting a compressor, as it had been since April 29th that I placed my original warranty claim. On Monday, July 8, I received a phone call from a very helpful lady, representing Mr. Cannis' office. She thanked me for emailing and told me she would be shipping my compressor, this week and she'd be in touch. Yesterday, July 9, she called me again and told me the compressor had shipped and it would be at the dealership, today. I had to call the dealership to find out my compressor had been delivered, this afternoon. I'll take my truck in, tomorrow for repair.
I encourage y'all to contact Ted Cannis, CEO, Ford Customer Service. Hopefully, y'all will get the courtesy I received.”

AC compressor Replacement after (3) weeks.

finally after (3) weeks my dealer here in Phienix states they have the new compressor & TXV valve. (2) days for the replacement. Free loaner truck while waiting. 🫰🏼

Yeah sorry I didn't see that but anyway here's what I got so far, it's the same thing that they posted above, you need to email. theodore.cannis@ford.com and I will tell you one thing their customer support, once I emailed that address, they took extremely good care of me to say the least. I'm on my third compressor and this one's holding solid so far, but they pretty much took control of the situation and directly got in contact with my dealer, and was getting parts to my dealer sent priority. They kept calling me once a week updating me on the status of what was going on. I was totally impressed with the customer service that Ford gave me after emailing this guy, that at first I was thinking about lemon law the truck because it went on for almost 2 months but they had put me into two different rental vehicles the whole time so I always had a F-150 rental the whole time so i was not out a vehicle and they paid for everything so I know that that was not cheap for the rental for 2 months. They have been outstanding to say the least for customer support. It is unfortunate you have to go that route because the normal channels doesn't seem to do anything, but the corporation still cares about their customers there is a big disconnected seems from corporate to the local level, if the local level was up to the standards of the corporate level, then we would not have to bother them with all this stuff going on. I definitely am impressed with the corporate response and actions which brings back the customer loyalty on my part. Let me give you some numbers and you can try everything you can to get things into the corporate control and by then they should take and get you hooked up.. here's the numbers on top of the email address and I wish everybody the best of luck hopefully you'll be back in your truck. 800-334-4375, 866-631-3788, 313-949-1429 hopefully these numbers will get you someone that can help you out, please go easy on these guys, they are working with us to try to get everything back to where everything is working it's not their fault that all this is going on, these people at these numbers actually care about customer support so please be respectful to them and they don't need people yelling at them or threaten them with anything they're just trying to help. So hopefully these numbers will help you get through and please use them respectfully we don't want to lose them or burn our bridges as they say. You can always have message me if you have any other questions I think that's about all I have is the email and the numbers. So I have been down this journey for several months so I feel your pain and I know what you guys are going through it's very frustrating but so far they are doing everything they can to help us out. The problem with Ford is on a local level and they need to get that back in check cuz I know that warranty work is killing them in profits and also sales, nobody wants to buy a broken $100,000 vehicle. Hope this helps.

2024 F-350 XL Dually
Bought brand new, no miles July 28th 2024
Failed immediately A/C did not work a single day!
Also has loud whining noises from under the hood.
First day of ownership A/C went full on HOT AIR!

Waited weeks to be able to get appointment to diagnose the truck.
Now waiting weeks for them to get the part and fix it.
My business has lost about $1500 a day because I can't pull my heavy equipment to the job site and they refuse to give me a loaner
They also haven't given me a repair date. Every time I call the service department, they send me to voicemail.

They have till Friday to fix this or I'm pushing for a buyback and I might have to change to Chevy/Dodge/GMC.
Ford better hope Toyota doesn't ever make a 350/3500 class truck.

Yeah that is unacceptable you definitely need to get a hold of the Ford customer relations, they should take care of you. You have a bad dealer, you need to get away from that dealer and go somewhere else if you bought it from them if they don't want your business there's another dealership that will. You should also let the corporate Department know of that dealership and go from there.

I already called corporate today but they say every dealership is basically a franchise so they can't MAKE them do anything. They can only TRY to get them to do the right thing. I'm the guy that NEVER complains about anything but a commercial vehicle at this price range that didn't even work a single day is in no way acceptable. Like I said, they have till Friday and then I'm contacting the BBB and take additional steps if necessary. Ford should have just shipped me another one of the same trucks since I bought it brand new and it didn't even work the first day. I even pointed it out to the salesman and he lied and said there was nothing wrong with the A/C. He gave me some BS excuse.

That's a shame with that dealership, I don't know if you ordered that truck through Ford or if you just bought it off of the lot. If you bought it off the lot then you're kind of at the mercy of the dealership, if you ordered it through Ford then I am not sure if the dealership has any responsibility with that but I know I ordered mine through Ford online and the dealership that I went to to honored the truck and did me very well. I don't know what to really tell you but I would definitely not go back to that dealership, depends on how bad you want that truck, too bad you can't return it to the dealership get your money back and go to a different dealership and get it from a different dealership. The dealership I dealt with likes to stay on Ford's good side, so they helped me out quite extensively, your dealership it sounds like they are kind of working their way out of the Ford business if they keep giving more issues I can see Ford pulling their dealership from them. I will tell you this much the new Tundras from Toyota are having recalls on their engines, my buddy bought a brand new Chevy it was a diesel and it's been back twice for engine work, and my cousin bought a Dodge so far his is running okay but I'm not a Dodge fan and I don't trust Dodge. So depending on what you want to do I get it, I would probably try to see if I could take it to a different dealership might be your best bet, but it depends on your business and time frame.

It really shouldn't matter where one bought their super duty from. I just bought my new 2024 F350 platinum from Gulf Coast ford in Angleton TX, I live in Arizona. I told my local dealership Larry H. Miller Ford of the AC issue, three weeks ago, they just put me in a new F150 to use and they are replacing the AC compressor & TXV valve & all refrigerant lines if necessary, as I write this they told me (2) days max to get it all replaced.

Is there a timeline of sorts where these trucks no longer have the AC failure? Surely the new builds are not having issues? New ones that have been on the lot a while may be affected, but I wonder if fresh builds are "fixed".

I would tend to agree with you that any superduty with a build date from 2/24 through 6/24 maybe suspect.
all trucks being built in July & on should be free of this defect.

Usually the problem will start failing between 800 to 1500 miles on the truck, so if you bought it within that time period I will turn my air conditioning on Max and try to put some mileage to get it within that range to see if it will fail I hate to say, unless you have a dealer that would be good enough just to replace it before it fails.

'24 F450 Platinum
HO 6.7
build date 3/27/24
Purchased 8/6/2024 with 31 mile on the clock, Drove it 500+ miles home with no issues.
Today on the way to the office the A/C started blowing hot air at 558 miles.
Local dealer says they are backed up, so it will be september 10th before i can drop it off, then it will be approxamitly 2 additional weeks to get it in to diag.

A 6 figure truck with less than 600 miles, sitting for months waiting for a repair. I'm really considering my options at his point. Has anyone ever had any luck returning a vehicle for a refund?

Waiting on scheduling at local dealer to get me in for a diagnosis.

I'll update with the build date asap.
Oh boy.. I'm assuming you purchased these from dealer inventory. Do you happen to have a build date on it?

Ford definitely had a bad batch of compressors from whomever makes them. Hopefully it's resolved now.
