when you look at the scope of the problems between brands ,ill take the other brands. fords been on a sharp down hill slide for quite some time now

 

Has anyone else had their dealer tell them that Ford is telling the dealers the compressor is an interim fix until they figure out the root cause?

 

The grass is not greener on the other side. My two trucks prior to this Ford, a 2021 Chevy High Country DRW Duramax and a 2022 RAM Limited DRW Cummins. Both had to go down the path of Lemon Lawsuits.

 

they all have problems, care to drive our 23 nissan frontier, radio stops playing mp3's via a flash drive or bluetooth, "losses sound" trans shudders from 40 upright after lockup engages , can't back up when towing it locks the brakes as you can't turn off the rear radar.

 

FINALLY after spending 29 days at our local FORD DEALER awaiting on parts, our F350 SUPER DUTY is back home after replacing the entire A/C system.

 

That's the way to fix a system that the compressor explodes into.

 

I have been waiting for 2 months now for at AC clutch. Dealer tells me he will call when part comes in. This is my first new truck and I'm very disappointed in Ford Motor Company. They were happy to sell me a truck now they don't care.

 

If they are just getting the clutch, you will probably be waiting a while for a compressor also. I can't see everyone else needing the whole compressor and having metal in the system, and yours only having a bad clutch.

 

I asked the service guy about replacing the compressor also and he said that just the clutch was bad and that would be lying.

### It took 4 months, but my truck AC is fixed. They replaced (Compressor ASY, V Belt, O Ring and Kit - Air Cond) At least now it's October and it's cooled down in Wisconsin. Is Ford going to offer any customer compensation, maybe a free oil change?

Usually, the SA is the least knowledgeable guy in the shop. They only know how to type something into the system, deny warranty items, and upsell you things you don't need.

 

of course but some are inexcusable blunders. . thousands of years ago didnt the egytians us round wood beams to lift stone blocks. how could a modern society muff up a axle tube. just one example of many.

Looks like the Ford AC compressor disaster has hit a youtuber and they share their story. So the Ford dealer will order a compressor clutch which will take many weeks just to find out the compressor chit the bed and then the dealer will have to order a new compressor and associated parts that will take many more weeks to come in. What a chit show.

 

Doesn't take a YouTuber to validate this issue.
