Add me to the list.

Yes 2 miles leaving the dealer and it died. Drove straight back and they said the compressor is locked up. What a crappy way to take delivery of a new truck.
Hello,
New guy here, i purchased a 2024 F450 Limited, my 1st Ford truck. At only 289 miles the A/C went out. I have it in the shop now, they say it needs a new compressor and will be 3-4 weeks before its fixed, due to trouble getting a new compressor. I dont know how people do it, if this was their only vehicle. Ford did not offer me a vehicle to use in its place, which I figure is the least they can do since it was there mistake.

The Ford GT (40) MK IV Hypercar ceased production in the 2023 model year.
This means that the 2024 F-450 Limited is currently the most expensive completed production vehicle that Ford produces, having the highest MSRP. This is Ford's 6 figure halo truck. And it is down and back to the dealer in less than 300 miles.
Ford can afford to provide you with a loaner. Perhaps an email to the right department at Ford corporate can help, if you need one while paying for Ford's flagship A/C flop that is in the shop for a production defect.
At some point this compressor problem has got to stop? 2024 model year ordering concluded, and 2025 model year ordering starts in August sometime, is there any possible way to know if this problem has been fixed?
fix date and resolution - Pending, waiting on parts
It initially was working intermittently, when it would shut off I would turn off the A/C wait a few minutes than turn it back on and it would work anywhere from 30 seconds to 20 minutes then go out again.. It finally took the full dump Friday the 12th, nothing but hot air now. Dealer diagnosed bad compressor, I'm in their queue for a compressor, with 4 ahead of me. No time line given just told me parts are on national backorder.
Model, Trim & Engine - F250, Platinum Tremor, 6.7L
Manufacture Date - 06FEB2024, picked up 29JUN2024 from dealer
Odometer miles & Date when it failed - 700 miles, 08JUL2024
fix date and resolution - Diagnostic complete 15JUL2024, failed AC compressor, no date to resolution. Truck remains at dealership, part is back ordered, no timeline.
I bought someone/s special order that they didn't purchase (smart on their part!). Had the truck less than 2 weeks. AC was weak initially, failed completely after 2 weeks. Has been in ford service for 9 days and counting. Dealer will not provide a loaner, Ford customer service may re-imburse a rental, up to $60/day. Surely I can't rent anything similar to a brand new F250 platinum for $60/day.

I am preparing the documents for a Lemon Law buy back. It’s been over 30 days with no updated part delivery date.
I emailed the CEO guy that some of you tried with no response. The dealership doesn’t respond in a timely manner. They did offer me an Escape for a loaner. I told them that I bought a truck because I need a truck, not a little car!
Lemon Law in my states says that 20 days out of service for any reason qualifies as a lemon.
This is my third Ford diesel and I am beyond disappointed!!
FOLKS! Contact the gentleman Ted Cannis in the post that ADLEE2 that's posted above. Within less then a week, he had a case number for us and a new A/C compressor was at our FORD dealership, now we have to hope our FORD dealership gets permission from FORD to fix our F350s A/C correctly.
I told my FORD service advisor at our FORD dealership to order some extra A/C compressors, he said FORD requires a VIN # before an order can be placed.
