I got it installed, I think I did have the factory obs bracket at one time. Pretty much just duplicated the other sides brackets and then modified accordingly to make the fit. The brackets mount on the front leaf spring bolts.
Truck is back together and running well. I do still have a boost leak… it’s the plenum. Specifically, the drivers side at the rear under the turbo pedestal. So I put the front of the truck back together since it’s driving well, and might pull the turbo and reseal it soon. But that says a lot to me about the kc balanced assembly. Able to easily hold 24psi even with a boost leak. Makes me excited to see what it can do with the leaks all sealed up
Wouldn't the larger plenums benefit the drop in KCs as well? Or is the larger plenum in the way?
I think the only 3" plenums you can fit are the Irate ones since the obs and E99 turbo sit low in the valley. Could probably fit the stock SD plenums if you dented the back part of the hole too.
Riff Raff has the o ring plenum for 2" intakes now too....
Oh I know, if I wasn't planning on larger holes I would be ordering a set right now. But oh well, I'm going to leave it alone for a little while. My dog messed up her knee, so all fun stuff is now on hold until I pay someone to fix it, which will cost about 10x the price I paid to get the dog

Not fun at all. The same dog with the bum knee ate a large rock a few years ago... 4 days of laxatives finally got her to pass it through in the 11th hour before surgery
Looking into some options for the pre pump side of the fuel as I change out my tank(s). With the new 38gal plastic tank out of the 6.0, I'm considering ditching the factory sending unit all together and going to a G&R sump which has an integrated return. If I do this, I'll add a Racor PS120-02 filter between the sump and the pump. Thinking with the addition of a plastic tank and a sump kit, I can never worry about a rusty tank, or broken sending unit on the front tank. When I eventually get around to grabbing a 38gal rear tank, I'll probably add a sump there too. I just need to take a look as I don't remember exactly where my tank selector valve is in relation to my fuel pump. It would be easier to install the filter kit on the pump side of the selector, but with how pricy those selectors are, I would be a little concerned running unfiltered fuel through the selector all the time, but in order to filter before the selector, I would need a filter for each tank. Any thoughts on which side of the selector I should filter? Also if anyone is currently running a pre-pump filter, what micron level are you filtering to?
There is a wix filter in the sticky section of the SD forum that filters as well as the shower heads. I don't run anything, I deleted the in tank stuff and rely on the pre pump filter after the selector without issues.
