I really wanted to go with that kit. But they couldn't be sure if itd fit my truck and I didn't want to chance 400 on a maybe. I have a cheaper Rancho kit coming for my truck that I won't feel as bad about modifying if needed.
The roads here are super crap too. Plus with the size of my tires I want something to help keep them pointed forward.

do you have a Dana 60 with the sway bar on the back side?
One of my favorite things I’ve done to the truck. Drives so much better on these ****ty Colorado roads
Big reason I want to keep the TTB in my rig and get some radius arms and coilovers dialed in. My whole body usually gets wobbled to death on I25 south.

i25 south gives me a headache no matter what I’m driving. But that might be more due to the people than the road
Got the vertical flange cut off the back side of the core support, so it should all fit now. Just gotta clean it with the die grinder tomorrow and then probably assemble later this week, if not I’ll do it this weekend
Well I am pretty sure I found the leak. Looking over my CAC piping, the hot side pipe was almost cut all the way through by a pulley. After test fitting it reassembled, the pipe should have been an inch or so away from the pulley. Looks like the clamp wasn’t tight enough (because of the core support being in the way) and the hot side pipe pushed almost completely out of the boot. I’ll melt some more metal back into the pipe and get it reinstalled. This time I’m going to do thorough boost leak testing before I put the front end back on the truck
Got the CAC pipe welded back together and thrown in. Was hitting 10psi of boost before and now I’m back up to 24psi. I think I might still have a leak somewhere, which would either be the plenums or the turbo to CAC pipe connection. I’ll throw my make shift boost leak detector on it before putting everything back together, but at least the truck is running well again!
I finally got my dual stabilizer kit, nothing as cool as yours. They shorted me half the mounting brackets, too.
That sucks, hopefully they send you the brackets quickly!
Of course I had brought my welding hood and gloves to work for the first time all year, and forgot to bring them home. So I just looked away and hoped my hands moved in a straight line haha
Nope, they aren't sending me nothing. The kit I bought apparently only has brackets for one side. The other side is meant to bolt into the factory stabilizer mount....on a Superduty. I'm gonna fab up the brackets today.
Resealing the plenums is not a huge deal. One side has a bolt that will not fully come out and the plenum is slotted.
With the clamp from the turbo outlet to the hot side pipe as tight as it can get, I still have a little wiggle at that connection, so I'm not sure what to do other than add silicon. I'm betting that's where the remainder of my boost is going

I can check when I get home, but I believe I just have standard .030 wire. I'm not certain that these pipes are galvanized

Welding without a hood sucks.
Well that sucks. Hopefully you can come up with something a little better than the bracket our OBS trucks use from the factory. When I first saw it, I had a hard time believing it was a factory part
I got it installed, I think I did have the factory obs bracket at one time. Pretty much just duplicated the other sides brackets and then modified accordingly to make the fit. The brackets mount on the front leaf spring bolts.
